Re: French Open Day 3 & 4
For Tennis fans it is a tough life, Silver. Every time Fedalovicurray show up, my kids start making the most unearthly noises, and I have to go sulk because they need their TV and I get the Mac to stream.

HB, you're the only one who says the court is playing quicker this year. Everyone is complaining that the court is very slow this year!
Fed didn't look in good shape, he's struggling to beat Granollers, and he was getting frustrated, not a good sign. The court is not favoring anyone, even those who hit hard couldn't get the balls flying the way they did at MC or Rome. The rallies looked tedious more than anything else.

Re: French Open Day 3 & 4
I did only watch the 5 minutes highlights of Fed, not the whole match.
I could be wrong. Maybe it's just the power of players today that can make any court look fast (even though it isn't), if they are smashing the ball hard enough. There have certainly been some winners whistling though.

» Have the hard courts of the US Open and Australian Open slowed down over the past twenty years?
» Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon - not proper 'opens'!!

» US Open Day 3
» No player won his first French Open when he was the #1 seed in the Open era
