Much easier to fix when you have transfer windows open
Side wise though I reckon it's improved, lost Pogba but have an attack that should play well together looking at their strengths, Benzema should compliment the three of Neymar, Depay and Aubameyang and it's certainly a step up from Tevez, Morata and Llorente.

Media says buy back prices are €6m after first season and €9m after second season, so we risk losing him back to them, but as he said he wanted a permanent deal, not a loan, seems he isn't that keen on being a Barca player any more, so they could be irrelevant.

I expect us to buy or loan a couple of CBs given Distin and Alcaraz are on their way out.

I also hope they can keep Garbutt, and pull out all the stops to get McCarthy to sign a new contract.

With Utd its usually a matter of sticking your finger in the air and see which way the tabloid press wind is blowing with the number of players we're linked with.

Firmino seems to be strongly linked but I can't see where he'd play unless Mata/Di Maria are on their way out.
Otamendi looks the most likely of CB options to join and maybe a better choice than Hummels for the Premier League.
Clyne I'd have liked but not heard much on him of late.
Gundogan I'd love but I expect Barca to get him.
Schweinsteiger would be great but I'd prefer a younger model.

I've been disappointed with Clyne for England.

Four hours later, I'm back! It was the Director General of the National Institute of Anthropology and History of Mexico. The lady is in charge of every single cultural site in Mexico that isn't an art gallery - she's the equivalent of being in charge of English Heritage, National Trust plus every single museum in the country. And I was presented with the prestigious Coatlicue medal, marking the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Institute. Who else has one you ask? Only bloody BONO. That's right, me and Bono have the same prestigious medal.

Welcome back Azzy, congratulations on the medal.

Five marathons, six half marathons, yet this one I feel I actually deserve. I am on cloud nine right now.

- As with every summer, there will be a couple of academy graduates who are now considered to be some of the 'More Experienced' players in the side that will shop around and try and get a bigger club on a bigger wage before deciding on signing a one-year deal.
- The manager will probably look at loan players with very little activity in the market until the season has begun.
- Need to sign an experienced premier league / championship defender. A Swansea legend played the majority of last season at this club this season.
- With Grant looking like he wants to move down south and reject the contract offer, a defensive midfielder along with a creative midfielder is a must.

All I'll say is that we wouldn't be able to put out a full team of 11 right now.

Was really surprised to see Mark Yates get the gig at your place this season. I honestly thought if Cheltenham would have stuck with him, they wouldn't have been near the drop come the end of the season but they are where they are.
