With 14 of the top 20 being picks beacoup de points were dished out after the final round.  Adding to that two picks shot 66 to tie for low round of the day and another shot 78 to tie for worst round of the day.

In a Jason Day like performance Raycastleunited put in some reps, fired his glutes up, had the right patterned release, controlled his traj, and walked away with another W.  He had five finishers inside the top 10 and boy did it show.  His finish points haul was matched by BlueCoverman who had four of the top five plus another points scorer.  Kouchi also had five picks score points and both of the low round scorers but he fell just short of Ray's total.

RedRage, I'm Never Wrong, TheCleaver, and AlciG were among the high placed Fantasy Leaguers that picked Jason Day.  They all had four picks score except for I'm Never Wrong who had three picks score.  Both EmmDee57 and Eyetoldyouso had five picks score but they didn't have Day and that made all the difference to them.  1GrumpyGolfer, Davie, Hibbz, Kwinigolfer, and Owen10ozzy all had four picks score points; out of this group Hibbz picked Day.  LadyPutt (or LordPutt), McLaren, Pedro, Sand, SirBenson, and Super_Realist all had three picks score points and from this group both Pedro and Super picked Day.  Beninho, CJB, and SetupDetermines all had two picks score points.  Both Beninho and CJB had Day, Setup didn't; did it show?

The two players to shoot 66 were Brooks Koepka and David Lingmerth.  Half of the Fantasy League picked Kopeka while just two picked Lingmerth.  The three players to shoot 78 were Morgan Hoffmann (picked by AlciG),  Sean O'Hair, and James Morrison.  Morrison also finished last.  Brian Gaffney was the only Club Pro to last the course.

The USPGA Championship returns to Whistling Straits the scene of wait, that was a bunker!  The bunker in question tripped up Dustin Johnson and cost him a place in a playoff with Martin Kaymer and Bubba Watson.  This time that pesky bunker won't be there as a grandstand will cover it up.  After winning the title in near darkness in 2014 Rory McIlroy will put his ankle to the test in his first start since missing the Open Championship.

Glory's Last Shot sees the USPGA stack the field with high ranked players.  105 of the top 107 players in the world are here.  Chris Kirk (broken hand) and Alex Noren (rib) are missing through injury.  Fourteen other former champions join McIlroy. Jason Dufner, Keegan Bradley, Martin Kaymer (Whistling Straits), Y.E. Yang, Padraig Harrington, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh (Whistling Straits), Shaun Micheel, Rich Beem, David Toms, Davis Love III, Mark Brooks, and John Daly will all tee it up.

There are 20 Club Professionals in the field, identified by (CP) after their name, so we will have a separate pick for Low Club Professional. The Low Club Professional pick does not have to be one of your Cat C picks unless you so desire.  30 points will be on offer for correctly picking the Low Club Professional after four rounds; if no Club Professionals make the cut then no points will be awarded.

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.
Pick 1 Club Professional identified by (CP) after their name

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to
check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.
