I must admit, I had my doubts about Madigan starting on the bench ahead of Jackson but he has been simply outstanding today.

Before this game started i thought would win comfortably. But well played Ireland deserved winners.

Shame a bout the injuries though. What happened to O'connell had to go out and missed most of the first half?

Although France have been outplayed by Ireland today, you'd think New Zealand would have preferred not to be facing them in a quarter final.

Yes, agree. If you had the full house of players available, then 60/40 minimum.
Although Argentina is growing in confidence, a slow starting NZ was their only real test.
