Ooph, Sand handed out a spanking to the rest of the Fantasy League at the British Masters.  Five of his picks, including the winner and runner up, scored points.  His five scoring picks were matched by SirBenson but they weren't of the same quality.  1GrumpyGolfer, EmmDee57, Hibbz, MustPuttBetter, and TheCleaver all had four picks of varying quality score points.  Eyetoldyouso, I'm Never Wrong, McLaren, Owen10ozzy, Raycastleunited, SetupDetermines, and Super_Realist all had three picks score points.  Beninho, BlueCoverman, Davie, Kwinigolfer, LadyPutt, and Pedro each had two picks score points and AlciG had just the one.

Picks Oliver Fisher and Tommy Fleetwood were joined by Graeme Storm in shooting 65 for the low round of the day.  Another pick in Mikael Lundberg tied Jordi Garcia Pinto for the worst round after shooting 80.  Garcia Pinto also finished last.

The British Masters returns to the schedule after a seven year absence.  Ian Poulter is playing host this year and it's not surprise that he picked Woburn, a place he knows pretty well, to be the venue.  Future British Masters will be hosted by Luke Donald, Justin Rose, and Lee Westwood.  

Shane Lowry is the headline player in the field at 21 in the OWGR.  Five other players from the top 50 are also in attendance.  Gonzalo FDez-Castano won in a playoff with Lee Westwood the last time the British Masters was played but he's not back to defend his title.  The last time it was played at Woburn Justin Rose won but he's not in the field either.  Former winners actually playing are Lee Westwood, Johan Edfors, Thomas Bjorn, Thomas Levet, and Peter Baker.  Levet and Baker won the event when it was at Woburn.  

There are three Categories where you will need pick three players, plus reserve, from each one.  There are bonus points available if you get all of your picks through in any category.  Get all 9 picks through and you get an even bigger bonus.  It's all way down at the bottom in the scoring section if you are interested.

This is a full field with cut event, cut points will be available; see above.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 9 players as follows:

Pick 3 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 9 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

Eleven players shot 67 or lower to make the top 10 low round scores; seven of them were picks and one of those shot 65 for the low round of the day. Luke Donald was the low round scorer and scored double points for EmmDee57, Eyetoldyouso, Sand, SetupDetermines, SirBenson, and Super_Realist. Both EmmDee57 and SetupDetermines added another scoring pick to their tally.
