Not including whatshisname really is crazy though

Was thinking more of Hearns and Hagler so high and above Duran...

I would struggle to include boxers pre-1991 because of my age... What would your top 10 be Trussman66?

He's not really 66 oh erudite one. He can't remember anything begire the 80's.

I don't think the list is so terrible, but the order certainly has some anomalies. Tommy is very lucky to be there.

Whatsisname would be a shoe-in now, but maybe an excuse when the list was done.

Frazier did a lot of his best work pre 71.....Foreman doesn't make it....Chavez and Napoles is a tossup...Sanchez is close...

I know he had some bad defeats, but I would actually place Jones Jr ahead of Sweet Pea.

Perhaps I'm biased because Jr was flawless at his best and loved watching him.

If we're talking 1975-2015 then he'd make it, yeah. I'm not sure he would when this list was drawn up (it would take him up to, what, Mosley?).

Ali would be difficult to rate post-75 (if you preclude his previous work). That'd leave Duran as top man for me, followed by Leonard.

Both Hazharrison and Trussman66's lists are okay. I have only seen a couple of Duran/Hagler/Leonard/Hearns fights so can't really comment on those. Realistically Mayweather would have to be on both lists. I'm surprised not one of Barrera, Morales or Marquez made the list. No heavyweights either...

I don't mind both Truss' and Haz' lists to be fair. Though I probably slightly prefer Haz' list but of course what we've come to realise is there is no such thing as a definitive list. That's why these list things, which are always entertaining, don't crop up as much as they used to on the old 606 and the early days of this forum.

Holyfield for Spinks funnily enough crossed my mind. Mike does seem to suffer from the Tyson showing and I'll admit I haven't seen much of Mike's light-heavy days so I'm not really fit to comment on Spinks. Truss raves about him though so may just have a look one of these days.

Holy is a good shout....

Light heavy holds more weight than the Cruiser crown............Holmes was a great couple of wins (not that he won the second fight)

Holy's record at heavy was better and he is the greatest cruiser by a mile..

Lists are killers. Lots you can make an argument for.

List was compiled 71-2011. Hard not to have monzon if you're sticking to those dates.
