S10 RULE CHANGES

ROSTERS
After consideration, we have decided to shake things up in how we assign random rosters this season. We understand that certain promotions have built their storylines around certain wrestlers but also don't want to eliminate the element of trading. Therefore, before rosters are assigned, we would like each promotion to PM their 'Star Pick'. A star pick will be any wrestler from any of the current wrestling promotions. Once you have picked, simply PM Enigma with your choice. If another promotion has picked the same, you will be notified and will have no choice but to bid for a different wrestler. The value of your Star Pick will be decided and will be deducted from your starting budget which will be allocated once all rosters have been assigned.

Along with your 'Star Pick', you will also be granted two Foreign Transfer picks. For those of you unware, a foreign transfer is basically any wrestler that's not currenlty involved in any of the current promotions. These are usually inactive, independent or legend wrestlers. Again the costs will be calculated and deducted from your starting budget. The same rules as your Star Pick apply when you send your PM.

INJURIES
As always, each WWA week you will be drawn two injuries at random. Due to feedback, we have decided to mix things up. If you need a certain wrestler who has been injured, you can request a swap but will be dealt further consequences.... When you ask to trade, you will be dealt an additional injury meaning if you ask to swap, you will inherit an additional injury as a sub. The same rules apply for both your original injuries but will instead be dealt 5 injuries instead of your original 2. Repeated injuries will be scraped this season.

- 2 injuries will be drawn each week.
- If a Promotion needs an injured wrestler, they can request a trade but will be dealt an additional injury in a 2-1 swap meaning the promotion will gain 3 injuries for that particular week.
- If a Promotion needs both injured wrestler, they can request a one-time trade only but instead of 2 For 1, they will be handed 5 For 2 Injuries meaning the promotion will gain 5 injuries for that particular week.

PUNISHMENTS
This season we will be enforcing punishments for any late shows that are not given notice. WWA will need a minimum of 24 hours notice if your show is going to be late for whatever reason. Fail to do so will result in an additional injury in the next week. If this happens twice, you will be given an additional fine on top of your injury which will be 10 Million and a third time will mean a total of 10 injuries. If you do not have the funds to pay the fines, you will be ordered to release a wrestler to balance the books.

Strike 1 - Additional Injury
Strike 2 - Additional Injury + 10 Million Fine
Strike 3 - Total of 10 Injuries.

I think that the bidding system for the foreign transfers would be more fun if you ran a days auction for anyone wanted. So for example, if someone wanted the Rock from foreigns (assuming he is not on a roster), then the next day, everyone could bid for him and the highest bidder wins. It would mean that money becomes more important and buying people can become tactical.

To a degree we do have a bidding system implemented for Foreign Transfer's but it only applies when more than one person bids on the same wrestler but that only lasts during the day both have bidded.

So just getting my head around this... Let's say both you & I bid on The Rock on let's say a Monday, are you suggesting that the bidding system would open up on Tuesday where we, along with everybody else, will compete to bid on The Rock?

It sounds like what we do anyway. there's a bidding war its not 1st come 1st served.

Yeah, essentially it'd be opened up to the group as a whole to bid on.

So if I say I want The Rock, rather than I put in a bid and get him, everybody then has a chance to put a bid in for him.

It's a bidding war anyway fella.

You get 2 a day highest bid wins.

Unless you mean scrap the 2 a day ruling

Yeah, I've not done this since like the very first one so wasn't aware of how it worked.

The main point I mean though is there is no set limit at the start, so bidding for The Rock could start at a really small amount. The football versions of these use transfer market values to determine how much somebody should pay. I think it'd be more interesting and fun if bidding was done auction style, so started either at an arbitrary but small amount, or even nothing.

I think that's better than coming up with some set amounts that everybody has to pay for a certain person.

When does star pick open?

The problem with an auction that runs all day is it will quickly get out of hand. We could see auctions set up just for the bigger names.

Yeah, the way I'd do it, is auction for the Foreign transfers. Obviously if there isn't a lot of interest, the auction will just not be happening because nobody will be bidding. So if I want The Rock, then it opens up and presumably there'd be a lot of bidding, meaning the price will quickly rise, but if it's for Johnny Nobody then I'll put in an opening bid and nobody else will go for it, so I'll get him for cheap. 

Why I think it'd be interesting is that if somebody goes for a big name, you might not necessarily want him, but if your competitor is going to get him for so cheap, you may as well at least try to get him.

It also means the biggest names will be involved as nobody will be put off by too high of a starting price.

No only inactivate people will be Foreigns. Injured people like Cesaro/Neville will be in pots.

Star Roster Picks & Foreign Transfer Picks will begin once we have our confirmed entrants. Need either 8 or 10 to start, so need either somebody to team up or wait for somebody to come in as it's not really fair on Gregers since he's been apart of this since Season 1.

Really liking the looks of the new rules enigma, sorry haven't been on. In the busiest week of term at the moment

9 feds works if one has a week off each side of the season, do 4 weeks then ppv with each fed having one week off for the season. Then do 4 weeks and then a second ppv?

I'm delighted to announce that we are ready to start kicking off season 10. If you haven't read the new rules changes, I suggest you do so... Can each of you please send me a PM containing your Promotion Name, Star Roster Pick and 2 Foreign Transfer picks.

Due to having odd numbers, we have discussed and have decided that for this season we will have 4 weekly shows followed by the first PPV show. From here it would be again 4 weekly shows followed by the final PPV show. Over the course of the season, each promotion will, for one week, not have a fixture so they can either have the week off or can just post a recap show. Choice is yours.

I'll join to make it 10. But my shows will be short.

it's not necessary just to round up numbers fella if were doing that id have a roster , we have many solutions

Just a word of caution, if you are planning on submitting very short shows, don't be surprised if feedback goes against you but if the booking is strong lenght shouldn't be an issue.

Right, Star Roster Picks have gone swimmingly and haven't caused any issues. On the other hand, some of you seen slightly confused with Foreign Transfers and the same names keep cropping up so I've decided to make this the fairest way possible.

I'm going to scrap all current Foreign Bids and start again, instead of placing bids or folding can you please send me a PM containing 5 Foreign Transfer picks labelled from 1-5. 1 will be your most important pick and 5 will be the least. If you and somebody else pick the same name, the pick will be decided on you ranked them better..

PICK A would win as they ranked The Rock as their second choice. I know it's a pain but this is causing never ending issues with others so this is the fairest solution. If a bid is tied, we contact you.

Got mine in, fingers crossed or I'll be doing some serious wheeling and dealing come trading time.

Just waiting on one more person to get back to us and we'll be ready to get in touch with people who have tied on bids... What we will do is provide you with your remaining budget. From here you can bid as much as you want providing you don't exceed but the more money you spend, the less you will have when the season starts so be tactical with your decisions.

If you loose a bid, we will move down the lists you provided and add your next eligable picks. I promise this will all make sense once all rosters have been posted.
