I actually think British Strong Style v South Pacific Power Trip was the best match, superb throughout. Travis and TK slowly turning face by association. Ringkampf v Hunter Brothers was also very good, Ringkampf are tremendous and although British Strong Style are defending against the Hunter Brothers on Sunday I think Walter and Dieter Jr will be the ones to take the Shields off of BSS.

Would be nice to see Shane Strickland/Matt Cross back & id guess the other 2 go to whoever doesn't leave Chapter 48 with the title

It's not a big deal, just wanted to an excuse to tell that story, only in Mexico Laugh

Riddle and Walter are a great shout, I've also heard David Starr is pretty much a lock, I think he may have announced it without realising how Progress like to slow roll these things

I have a feeling Progress are trying to distance themselves from WoS guys and I don't see Strickland or Cross

I think Haskins, Andrews & Starr are locks

So that leaves Walter, Riddle & Bate for the remaing 2 spots

I agree though on paper this looks to be the best SSS16 yet and I think going to 3 days can only help things as it'll give the later tournament matches more room to breathe

Last year Day 2 was manic. A 10 man match followed by 4 quarter finals, 2 semi finals and the final Laugh

Guessing;
Day 1: 8 first round matches
Day 2: 4 quarter finals and Women's Championship Tournament Final
Day 3: Fraking chaos and the semis/final

Maybe Riddle won't be in it so he can defend the Atlas title instead...

I like Starr, he's done great work with Walter in WXW

Smallman said that there will only be 4 repeat competitors in the tournament this year, Gibson & ZSJr make 2, and imagine Haskins & Andrews would be the final 2 which means no Walter unfortunately, though I'm still holding out hope for Riddle

ZSJ has done so much in Progress without actually winning the title ever. I think it would be apt while he's collecting Indy belts to finally get a reign, especially while he's not going to WWE anytime soon.

I agree he's not going to WWE but Ospreay just had to drop Progress from his schedule and he's arguably less busy that Sabre particularly with the G1 & BOLA coming up he's going to be booked out from July-September
