Have to agree, Crolla is much improved but 5:1 linares on points is great odds. Makes you think if they've just looked at the barroso/Mitchell results... Which is a dangerous game. I imagine they're also thinking that linares is chinny, and long in the tooth, which is true but he toughs it out if you don't knock him out and he's still a very talented boxer who's never lost on points. Who knows how much of what he diished out to Mitchell impacted on what Mitchell had left for barroso.

Funnily enough, crolla at 6:1 to stop him inside 6 isn't a terrible bet either.

Should be a good fight, looking forward to it.

I was with the tv guys on both occasions

I thought froch was a bit biased and thought Arnfield got more rounds.

Still thought Ryder got it by a round, so i don't really object to the result. I can see somebody saw rounds differently. But the margin was too wide on two cards, in my opinion.

Ryder is/was garbage.

This fight should be good. A lot of me mates money has gone on Crolla 9-12 @ 8/1.

I’ve got Linares 3 up after three, Crolla hasn’t really been able to land anything in the first three rounds.

So far, Linares looks really sharp.

But Crolla has been compact and tight.

Yeh Linares has this unfortunately. 4 rounds up for me and looking sharp.

He may be a fair few rounds up Linares, Don't fancy him getting a decision though despite looking like he's out classing Crolla.

Thought he edged the middle rounds and nicked a couple of the early ones....But like I said Linares deserved it out of the 2.

I though Linares won the first three and last three and nicked one or two in the middle.

Fair enough....Like I said he won his rounds more clearly...

The only clear rounds were for linares... He built a lead and then there were a stack of fairly close rounds that were down to your preference. I can see it wide for linares and close for linares... But I can't make a case for Crolla.

Can't complain. Linares win it for me.

Crolla didn't press enough down the home stretch, which was his best chance of winning.

Magnificent victory for the Golden Boy Jorge Linares. He was far too skilled and talented for a one dimensional plodder like Anthony Crolla. The gulf in class and ability was easy to see. Linares a classy slickster picked his shots/angles which left Crolla bamboozled. Crolla couldn't put a dent Linares(dispute the Venezuelan's well documented chin/cut issues) and Linares power hurt Crolla time and again. After Linares meltdown against DeMarco it's somewhat fitting he's now won the WBC, WBA and Ring Lightweight titles. Icing on the cake for a Stella career for the ultimate road warrior. There's really no need for a rematch Linares won, no controversy. He was too good. I'd like to see Linares move up and face Ricky Burns.

No need for a rematch other than $ and a contract.... Which according to Eddie was part of the deal
