1. Good solid start for my Marseille side, I feel like i needed that to get going but plenty of work to do.
2. Like i said in question 1, plenty of work to do, looking to improve at CB and still want to bring in a striker, we have officially made contact with Ajax over the transfer of Kasper Dolberg.
3. Honestly, i didn't expect Hoffenheim to lose 3-0 to Nice as good as they are. Whilst i agree with this result, i think the scoreline was a little unfair on Hoffenheim despite the fact that i personally voted for a Nice win.
4. I didn't really know what to expect going into the first match. Some of the managers i've never played with and they are all new to me whereas some are friends of mine so i have a little more idea. This made it a mixed back really and tough to call on how they would all vote.
5. I feel like Torino should be up there being the squad starting with the most built squad. I can see Nice being up there for sure and personally i feel like Nadz is an underrated manager and his team he is building at Leipzig has potential to be special.

1. Obviously I didn't want to lose the game, but probably is fair enough. My team wasn't ready and I'd done my Tactics in super quick time so yeah, I could have done much more.

2. I've been working on my squad throughout and I'm pretty happy with it. I need one more defender who I've pretty much decided on and I'm after two forwards, those I haven't yet decided. Any suggestions I'm all ears.

3. Not a result in particular, but the level of confusion and lack of feedback really was a surprise. But we'll have to see what happens going forward.

4. Yeah, I expected to lose and I did.

5. It's so hard to say because it's at this early stage of the season. I think I'll be in with a shout if I get two more players in, my XI is as good as anyone's

1. How did you feel about your result in the first round of fixtures?

No idea how I lost

2. Where do you want to improve to make your squad keep challenging?

Brought in Dembele to help my weak midfield, will look to bring in another top player to complement the youngsters

3. Did any result particuarly surprise you in the first round?

Mine, and also Nice battering Hoff

4. Were there any results that you expected to happen and did?

Not really

5. After the first game, who can you see challenging for this title in a long, lengthy league?

Open to everyone, too early to say

1. How did you feel about your result in the first round of fixtures?

Couldn't have been happier, 3-0 away from home is a great start to the season.

2. Where do you want to improve to make your squad keep challenging?

I'd like to bring in a top drawer striker at some point soon, finding the cash to do that may be the issue though.

3. Did any result particuarly surprise you in the first round?

Mine! Apart from that I was surprised Ajax narrowly lost as I rate that team.

4. Were there any results that you expected to happen and did?

Most went the way I predicted, Torino look a strong side as do Leipzig, for me those two are going to be fighting it out for the title.

5. After the first game, who can you see challenging for this title in a long, lengthy league?

As above, Torino have gone for experience with several top drawer players in and of course already have Belotti up front, Leipzig are playing the longer game perhaps with the emphasis on youth but they've also just had a very good Transfermarkt increase across the Leipzig team that pushed their value up for the original team by 30m. That's a huge amount in a cash strapped league to have as an advantage.

1. It was a hard fought game against a tough team and am pleased i got the win.

2. Maybe buy a more accomplished striker.

3. Thought the Nice vs Hoffenheim match would be a tighter affair.

4. No real surprises.

5. Nice look like favouritesnth us far.
