ah I see ...
on a different note it's annoying of Glaws to let them get a LBP after pulling out a big gap

Just watching the replay - that pass from Teo for Worcester's 2nd try was clearly forwards ... WB seems to have a lot of them go tonight ... not sure how the commentary team weren't sure when the tackled player hit the ground about 2 yards back from where the receiver caught the ball.

You have to take into account momentum. You'd need a close up on the direction of the hands. I thought it was fine.
I suspect Stringer and DOC would disagree that WB gave them much. They didn't seem impressed when he gave them that lecture in the second half.

With that back line if we don't take off the breaks and attack I give up!!!
However once again I cant help thinking that pack is set up to defend with few carriers or game changers!!
It's odd because when Dean Richards coached Quins, we were all about the attack. Too much at times tbh, but it worked well. He then instilled a hard pragmatism in the forwards with guys like Kohn, Easter and Skinner.
I don't know why he's taken such an about face with Falcons, unless your players just really aren't good enough to execute or the other coaches in the team have very different views which they're going with.

I thought it came out of the hands forwards too - but that's all academic now anyway ...

I was surprised there wasn't a lot of close up replays on the hands.

Not a lot. Fairly even, Veianu over for Leicester. Ref is pretty whistle happy so very stop start, quins giving away a lot of penalties.

How is that not a yellow? Most blatant knockdown I've ever seen.
Don't agree with the law myself, but jeez, enforce it.

Because it was in the midfield. On the wing would definitely be a yellow.mid_gen wrote:How is that not a yellow? Most blatant knockdown I've ever seen.

Re: 2017/18 Aviva Premiership Round Four
Whatever the result in the Quins Tigers game it does feel great to not be supporting the team with the Poopie lineout this week. Obviously I've jinxed it now.
Burns pulled out before kick off, ironically due to a dead leg caused by a stray Banahan knee.

I thought Willis was excellent first half GF. Bathgate ripped into us so far in the 2nd, disappointing.

Re: 2017/18 Aviva Premiership Round Four
At least we've actually tried to play rugby. Sometimes we've forced the last pass and knocked on etc...but when it's clicked its been so effective.
If this is the way we're trying to play then happy days. Just need consistency...and much better set piece solidity!
