I'd have Koulibaly about 5th on the list

I'm only pulling your leg on my rating. I'd have Koulibaly up there between VVD and Umtiti. I wouldn't count on him moving in January though. Napoli played hard ball all last summer and given their going so strongly for the league, I can't see them selling until next summer

I love me some Virgil Van Dijk too - but like, it's all set he goes to Liverpool pretty much. I can't sign a Liverpool defender on principle

yeah true, but even if he doesn't he's still an integral part for a Serie A title challenger - so either way I'm doing alright (could do with Napoli going through in the CL tonight)

Basically like in real life, if Manchester United had all three goalkeepers injured or suspended one week, they'd just use one of the academy keepers surely.

They wouldn't loan one for example.

I know a few games last season Wolves had the academy keeper on the bench for that reason - I wouldn't be against it.

but maybe with a rule stating we should have a minimum of 2 first team 'keepers, so people don't just have one as a way of having a stronger outfield squad

I'm intending to bring in a replacement keeper before Thursday, it was just a lawyer offer and the need to get in a CB before Afro that's result in a temporary 1 keeper situation.

But Hero's made a good point. You have 2 TPs every week, 2 lawyers, two releases, plus bonuses.

With more planning, you should always be able to have an uninjured keeper available. It might mean having to sell someone you don't want to, but so be it

The feedback I'm getting is that I'm strong defensively but getting no joy going forwards

List of available strikers on TM under 30m and not in the league

Benteke, Batshuayi, Slimani, Gameiro, Giroud, Schick, Muriel

Are any of them an upgrade on Dolberg? I don't see many options better than Guedes/Coman on the flanks either

I'm more basing it on what he did last year for Sampdoria. I'm not saying sign him mind, just that he's an interesting one. He has been injured, which is a large part of his low number of appearances.

He's a risk, which is the main reason why I haven't gone for him before now. Not sure whether his injury will flair up again
