Hello my Welsh pals.

I'm coming down to your fair city for the rugby this weekend, and having not been since the rugby world cup was wondering if much had changed? Any new bars you would recommend? Decent food establishments?

Thanks in advance.

Ps. My predictions. Dragon's to have a decent first half then Scarlets to run up a score.
Cardiff will win but think the sprays will make it a close game.

Yeah I'm going with some Dragons fans. The area outside the train station has changed drastically with buildings flattened and tall modern office type ones built. Pub and eatery wise its still the same but new restaurants pop up all the time.

Tiny Rebel on Westgate street if you like decent beer - they are very successful Newport based brewery.

They do tidy burgers etc too

Yeah, that's a good shout. I would usually hang around that area, or revulucion da Cuba and Live Lounge area.

On Judgement Day, Dragons fans used to congregate upstairs in the Great Western.
