Interesting note that something I tried definitely worked.

I purposely had no attacking players on my bench so that the CPU couldn't sub off Bernardo or Suarez, and it worked, with ineffective subbing of defenders and midfielders taking place instead

I've done the same thing this week with Aspas injured, want to keep Cavani on all game

Noticed that and good play.

Only stip which I mentioned a few weeks ago and just wish to reaffirm is no team can have more than 1 keeper on the bench as keepers as far as I can tell NEVER get subbed on.

I thought about using that tactic but only works if you have good depth, otherwise it could backfire.

Also if it subs in players whose main position isn't part of the formation then it can change the tactics.

I weighed it up before and decided it wasn't worth the risk. Also players are noticeably less effective as they tire, so its not always the best thing to have someone who stays on the whole game.

It is far better to have the depth that whoever comes on is good enough.

Not sure who tackled Matuidi ineffectively, but it's not that much of an issue to me, as nobody would have expected Matuidi to smash it in like that, on what's supposed to be his weaker foot too!

Question - I just bought Maolida from afro, who had him in his youth academy. I am going to be putting him in my first team squad. Do I still need to start him twice for him to get a tm value?
