It’s not a great Brazil side. Gabriel Jesus isn’t good enough to lead the line either.

William must be wondering what he's got to do to get the ball. Although he could try passing rather than just shooting. It's everything through Neymar which hampers both the side and him, as he gets no space.

Brazil aren't that good, for this attitude that they just have to turn up and they'll win. Neymar diving but otherwise doing nothing. Jesus might as well not be on the pitch.

It's been a horrible game to watch, that's left a sour taste in the mouth. And show cased most things wrong with the game now er days.

Probably a fair result because Brazil were by far the better team but it wasnt pretty to watch. Some of the time wasting by Costa Rica was embarrassing and its awful seeing Neymar up to his old trick.

I'm obviously in the minority but I'm glad Brazil won and thought they deserved to win. Neymar...it's a shame that he did that but I'm not going to hold it against the whole Brazilian team.

Neymar is odious. His diving and playacting is just awful to watch, spoils the whole game for me. He clearly feels that he's bigger than the whole team.

Kinda feel for Neymar, his entire career has been burdened with expectations that really only a handful of people could ever meet. Hes not winning a ballon d'or until Messi and Ronaldo drop off so that means dragging Brazil to a world cup, and hes already missed his best chance at a legendary moment 4 years ago at a home WC.

That said, hes also a turd and its hugely entertaining watching when he doesn't get his own way.

Serbia 1-1 Switzerland- Mitrovic & Xhaka

Both teams probably need a winner here.

Harsh on Serbia but a braindead moment at the back and great composure to finish.

Serbia have to beat Brazil to progress. A draw is no good because of goal difference and the unlikelihood of Switzerland losing to Costa Rica. In all likelihood Brazil will beat Serbia and Switzerland will beat Costa Rica. Then goal difference will determine who comes top of the group.

Brazil will not enjoy playing Serbia, not a bit. Deep crossing, physicality - Brazil have yet to impress and I can’t see them being good at defending if it’s tight late on and they just want to hold the draw

Probably the best game since last weeks Spain vs Portugal. Both teams giving it socks chasing the win. Brilliant stuff.

Been an excellent world cup in general, though tension tends to make teams more cautious in the knockout rounds.

But less teams just parking the bus and making up the numbers like the Euros expansion. Most at least try for a result. Worrying for 48 team expansion in 2022 tho.

Serbia haven't been awful but they need set pieces to get back into this and the delivery has been poor.

Looks like the top half is going to contain all the south American teams and Brazil, Uruguay & Columbia look like they are going to be a handful for any side.

Serbia should be level, Brazil have eased off after the break

Typical Mitrovic. If it’s not on a plate, he’s going to struggle to score. Wastes 10, before he finally bags one.

You do sort of wonder if this is the tournament and outsider wins (like Croatia or even Sweden)?
