Same for SA. No penalty for tacklers not releasing Halfpenny in your 22. No penalty for Du Toit recklessly taking out Moriarty in the air, but penalty against Halfpenny on Le Roux which was at least safe.

The SA line out hasn't exactly been straight either, there was one on the Welsh 22 that was about a yard out.

Not sure you can judge the 6N on the basis of this tournament - unless on the same basis you can say the forward pass laws don't exist in the SH

Mapimpi had so many high tackles on him, I am surprised he is still walking

A surprise if true, the South African knives out for shocking Garces seems to have worked in your favour.

Does any one think that this game is going to just like last week? Wales so far not even looked like they could score a try.
SA doing well but nothing special.

I do notice that in the final games of this WC the TV directors are following the directives (supposedly) to ease up on the stringent reffing on dangerous play.
So one set of rules for pool stages then cameras off for the latter stages.

Not sure how much SA jumped across there - Garces seems a bit random with the pens for both sides.

Yeah nothing in it, though Hartley was banned and missed RWC 15 for something similar.

Maybe both teams are trying to lure England into a false sense of security because based on this they'll steamroll the final.

It’s so clearly obvious but the assistant ref does nothing.
