So Joshua's team have confirmed that he is fighting his IBF mandatory Kubrat Pulev. This is no surprise given that Wilder wants Fury again. So that's all but confirmed and unless one of those guys gets injured, the Unification will have to wait.

Cannot see past a Joshua win here. For all Arum's bluster about how Pulev will KO AJ, I simply cannot see that happening. Pulev couldn't dent Hughie Fury and although he won, he looked distinctly pedestrian doing it. Think Joshua practically walks through him en route to a 3rd or 4th rd KO. This won't last long.

Pulev won't last long in this, fully expect AJ to do a lot of work on his left hand and attempt to replicate Wlads destruction of him. It's not the fight we want but the best available considering the circumstances.

I cannot see a unification until next year now as the winter months don't seem a great way of maximising purses, either that or they do go to Saudi Arabia.
