Football Manager 20
Anyone else play this? It's my one guaranteed purchase every year and always value for money.
The save I'm doing now though has left my royally p**sed off. Started Brentford, got them promoted before a move to Palace. Over three transfer windows I built the team I wanted, start of the season 6 of my first team are injured and the owner suggests a midtable finish which I accept. Fast forward to December, he sells the club with us sat 14th, the new owner states he wants to qualify for Champions League football and sacks me after a 2-2 with Liverpool

Haven't played FM in a few years now, always a highly addictive game that was sure to steal a few weeks of your life! Loved it.
Not sure my current laptop (which is around 7 years old) would even be able to run the latest version

Re: Football Manager 20
I had a great save with Newcastle on FM19, but then it was taken off Game Pass so I lost it all and at £40 and nearly 2 years out of date, I just left it. All I have now are the memories of my gegenpressing, overachieving Newcastle side.
I did get Football Manager 20 recently, as it was offered for free for a limited period, but it kept just crashing. Seems my laptop can't handle it for some reason - only during games. I don't want go to 2D mode, but the match engine seems to be a bit too much for a laptop not really built for games.

I got bored of playing with the current database so downloaded an 06/07 one, Liverpool have zero money compared to the other big teams and looking back the team was pretty shocking apart from one or two key players.

I tried FM20 on the two week free trial but there's just far too much to do in the game now; tactics, training, scouting and staffing are a minefield now, so much so that it drains the enjoyment of the game. I'm currently on FM14 around the time the games started to go downhill for me.

Just delegate it - I normally delegate training, staff renewals, scouting and just focus on tactics, buying players, player contract renewals.

Re: Football Manager 20
played 20 a lot, seems to get very repetitive. the English sides dominate all over Europe by signing all the players from every where. near on impossible to sign young unknown wonderkids with Liverpool/united stumping you. current save Liverpool won the champions league 5 years in a row you have to wait till Mane/salah/vvd/Roberson get old before you can over take them which I currently just have done.

The newest Football Manager mobile game is free if you have Netflix. It's good for when you need to kill some time.
