SURREY VS NOTTINGHAMSHIRE/NORTHAMPTONSHIRE ROYAL LONDON CUP
SURREY HAVE NAMED A SQUAD OF 15 TO TAKE ON NOTTINGHAMSHIRE IN THE ROYAL LONDON CUP AT GUILDFORD ON TUESDAY 27TH JULY.
Hashim Amla will again captain the side.
Rikki Clarke is added to that squad that travelled to Yorkshire last week.
Cameron Steel is still self-isolating. Ben Foakes remains on the treatment table.
Again there is no place in the squad for Gareth Batty.
FULL SQUAD:
Hashim Amla (C)
Gus Atkinson
Rikki Clarke
Tim David
Matt Dunn
Ben Geddes
Nicholas Kimber
Conor Mckerr
Dan Moiarty
Ryan Patel
Nico Reifer
Jamie Smith (WK)
Mark Stoneman
James Taylor
Amar Vird
hopefully Guildford can bring out the sun in his home town
Don't expect Kimber, Taylor or virdi to play so maybe either Geddes or Reifer to miss out for Clarke.
Over to you chaps

Cheers, JimBob. I'll do what I can with the weather! Forecast still isn't great but it has improved over the last couple of days.
I reckon Geddes will join last week's trio on the bench. Feel your lad Nico did enough in Scarbados to keep his place. It could be Dunn making way but believe that would potentially leave us light on bowling - we got away with that last week and I wouldn't want to risk it again.
Notts won't be a pushover like Yorks last week. They made light work of Warks yesterday with Hameed getting a ton.

Cheers Jimbob, I think it'll be the same as Yorks with, as Guildford says, Clarke replacing Geddes, which ever way we cut it the bowling is going to look light, would like to see Craig, sorry Tim David's slow bowling for a bit of variation!

Brilliant win outstanding from Patel and Smith and backed up with a double wkt maiden from Dunn
Key moment in the game was when Patel on 49 should have been stumped by Schadendorf that really cost Notts

Perfect summing up by JimBob.
Just to add, some extremely good fielding by Surrey. In particular, boundary stops by Reifer and David the Giant plus a great catch by Patel to get Hameed.

Unchanged squad for Northamptonshire
Baring any injuries you would imagine a unchanged eleven

Yep, same eleven for me as well, JimBob.
No Curran for Surrey but middle brother Ben should be there for Northants.
Weather forecast is a worry ....
