How do you make a judgement in Wales when there is a run of cards like there is. Another win but....

To be fair, it does come across as fishing or whatever. People focus on the fact it’s another red, rather than admitting it’s a fair red.

Yep no question, and they've all been correct from what I can recall - it's just bizarre the way it keeps on happening in Wales matches - it's not as if they are doing anything differently to other teams ...

Why I used the ''. Risks injury but clearly a major reason why you've won the games too.

And that's as blatent a yellow you'll see.

It doesn’t bother me, but I can see why people will be defensive about it.

Shanklin is a massively poor commentator. Him and Flatman were brought in as they're a good rugby double act but where Flatman will tell it how it is Shanklin remind me of an early Greenwood before he learnt the broadcasting art.

Have Wales strung any phases together? Get into good positions and then spill the ball or throw a poor pass. If they can just put 10+ phases together they will score.

Yes. Completely agree. I've seen criticism of Biggar and felt in the past its been a little harsh but it wasn't until Sheedy came on last week where Wales started to exploit space. Can't be as last this game surely.

The two cards against Australia were spot on but I do understand their frustration with the slightly controversial penalty given against the guy who went up in the air and hurt himself. That was a harsh penalty and was immediately followed by a deliberate knock on from Wales that should have been a yellow card as much as Beale's. 

I suspect there'll be a lot more niggle in the second half. If Wales keep their heads the game is there for the taking.

Adams apparently got pinged against NZ for the same, so perhaps there’s consistency there?

I’m still not convinced wales will win this, but it’s a better start to this half.

Great call by the ref. Just shows how lucky it can be though as Beale yellow with the same intent.

Slipper is a poor captain. His attitude to the ref is awful.

Bizarre try. That ball goes millimetres the other way it goes from 7 points to Wales to 14 men a side.

I'm watching it without the sound and I honestly can't understanf how that isn't a penalty and a YC to Tompkins... Looks identical to to the Beale one to me.

Literally the only difference is the ball went backwards....and you can slap the ball downwards as long as it goes towards your own try line.

Tomkins can’t defend in the 13 channel. Twice (once for the try!) he has made poor decisions.

That’s either massively shrewd from Jenkins or stupid if he doesn’t get away with it. The life of a flanker.

Considering how the game has gone tge ref has had a great game. Only thing I'd say is he's not quite as vocal as the best ones in the game.

I normally have Amazon without commentary, but put it on today as he’s pretty quiet. I don’t want a showtime Owens type of ref, but you don’t get anything at all off Adamson.

I always saw Tompkins as a potential 12 when he was in England contention, he's a good player, but he does have his limitations.

I think that's a red considering Fagerson in the six nations.

It’s a red if you think the arm is swinging. Otherwise yellow. It’s very close. Should be a red for stupidity though, absolutely nothing to gain from it.

Haven’t been convinced by Wales winning at all and now this really could be trouble.

Halaholo + Tomkins in the centre is so, so porous.

This is why I expected Davies at 12, tbh
