Fan not now, several seasons from now. Do you remember The GAL? How it started to die because we forced to carry on with a dying league, all the players were there and teams were complete. I will never forget my GAL team.

--------------Sorenson
Beck--Samba--Marcellis--Warnock
---------Denilson--Rodwell
Turan---------Afellay--------N'Zogbia
-----------------C.Cole

An don't forget I was banned from T.P, every time I bid I would get a stupid price or a no. In The GAL league people had thier favourites and would try to stop people like me.

El Dios the c*** he always gave me a loss, even to managerless Leeds who had the likes of Snodgrass playing for them what a joke.

Where is week 4 injuries??

you team against me:

Kameni
Neville -- King -- Johnson -- Tremoulinas
Palombo -- Montolivo
Farfan -------- Augusto ------- Etherington
Quagliarella

Neville is in as he marked Bale out of a match last season so its not a standard he can do that.
Etherington as A.Young is injured?

Honestly. I think it is a bit mixed. I would say it is marginally better than most, but I don't think it is as good as Liverpools or Evertons

I think Lennon is decent, but you could improve.

Cambiasso was good, but he did not have a good year last year at all and looks to be on his way out of the Inter midfield this year.

Modric I like a lot. I think he is a top, top player.

Bale is good, but when you look at last season as a whole and his assists and goals record, it's not actually that good. Take out his purple patch in the period where they played Inter Milan and it is even worse.

VDV is a top player.

I think you will struggle to improve Modric and possibly VDV, but the rest, you can definately get better players

Who from The Apprentice?

I'm an early bird!!

I can switch from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-3 then 4-5-1 and 4-4-2. Nick I can smell blood, I think you fear my team and I honestly I believe my Stoke team are more then a match. When the manager is not confident the team starts to shake, you even had doubts over your midfield asking Afro his opinion. COME ON YOU POTTERS!!!!!

Farfan and Lennon are equal.
Palombo and Cambiasso are equal (You must not watch Sampdoria this season)
Modric is a bit better then Montolivo
Young is better then Bale

An you have to remember I manage Stoke, a team who were probably ranked as one of the smallest when we started and most definatley the weakest when Azzy killed them but I can still hold my own against Spurs the best team in the league who should be comparing themsleves with the big boys.

Viva, your Stokies will get beat down. My team is fine, they know how to get the job done, your Stokies dont.

Lennon >> Farfan
Cambiasso > Palombo
Modric >>>>> Montolivo
Young = Bale (tough one, Young put sone good prefeomences in towards end of the season, gained him a transfer to Man United. Bale did the end of the season before and some good ones in this year but not consistant, saying that when he gets going hes a monster).

I can still hold my own against Spurs - Hummm I beat you last season with 60% + votes in favour of my Spurs team.

Yes you have signed Young but hes injured. Signed SpagBol upfront, not too bothered about him, I have two quality CB's that are currently IRL being linked with top european clubs.

Smarts, just educating Viva, we have to help each other our here, we're Fam you get me.

Also, Viva, look at your defence Laugh its quite poor.
King who can play 1 games every 2 weeks tops.
Lorenzo Di Silvestri is a good young talent.
Younes Kaboul & Roger Johnson I like. but not on the same level as my CB's, can they handle a striker like Benzema, doubtful.
Tremoulinas is like my LB, great attacking but not the best defending.
Only chance you have is to play 5 in midfield, you know you can play a 442 against me as my Spurs will run riot and punish you.

Tremoulinas is a decent defender, but definately better going forward. I would have expected him to have joined a top club by now as he whips in a great cross, would have said I don't mind Arsenal signing him but no point him whipping in great crosses to nobody & he is a bit small.

Coentrão is a decent defender too. Just saying Tremoulinas is poor at defending in referance to yday, its not his strenghth so hes poor. His crossing is top, got a dirty left peg, didnt Real try sign him?? or was it Barca? I know it was one of them.

I would say Tremoulinas is more of a defender than Coentrao in as much as when you watch Coentrao he spends most of his time in the opposition half and quite often gets beyond the striker. I don't think he will muscle Marcelo out of the LB spot at Real as Marcelo had a great season last year and Jose likes to keep it tight at the back. However I can see him playing left wing, stiff competition there with Di Maria though.

Why you bummin Smartest like you want his apporoval? You tramp!

Aaron Lennon, the lad who can only run in straight lines and can't cross the ball in. Fantastic I hope he plays because all he does is run like Usain Bolt.

Cambiasso who plays as a third centre back which means you lose a man in midfield and his passing range only goes up to 5 yards brilliant.

Modric is rated top rated but he is only > Montolivo and you only say that as Modric is your player.

Bale only had a good 1 month last season in the league and it was in Europe, Ashely Young is miles better and has end product almost all the time. An remind me who was estatic when Young joined United? Watch you make FB status when Young kills it for Man Utd you hypocrite.

Ledley King plays all the time here and he is rated as high as he would if he played all the time in real life he is a very good defender, much better then cloggers like Dawson and Shawcross. I've noticed all your defenders lack pace and are very clumsy and prone to breaking oppenents legs. Can't wait to play against them.

An my left back can do his job as a defender better then yours DEFEND, you stop a players natural play and he will suffer, so what you gunna do tell COntrao to defend and not attack which will affect his game or tell him to attack and expose his position. I will tactically suffocate your team,

Look at the LB's in the league:

Clichy
Monreal
Dennis Aogo (DM most of the time tho)
Jose Enrique or Emilio Izaguirre
Domenico Criscito
Marcel Jansen
Cristian Ansaldi or Aly Cissokho
Tremoulinas
Taiwo
Coentrão

Majority are predominantly attacking fullbacks.

Smarts is not being his usual deluded self today, making some ture points. Then again its only when you talk about Arsenil his delusion kicks in.

tactically suffocate - Viva, you couldnt "tactically suffocate" a whore even if you paid to strangle her !!

Nick you say what you want about Smarts but at least he sticks to his theory and won't twist and change to suit depending on the argument. Wheras you are the biggest coward who changes his view all the time, now you rate Bale same as Young but when United signed Young you were so happy. An even wanted to sign Young for Spurs.

Nick Football has changed, majority of fullbacks are more offensive and aggresive in thier play you won't see many that sit back and hold thier line.

Nick please play Lennon and he can put in his imaginery crosses into the box and Bale can take on plays with his agility lol.

Laugh if you have the time to look back please do. I was happy we signed Young as there is talent there. I said I hope he can cut it as I didnt really rate him untill he pulled some preformances out at the end of last season.

I want Young for Spurs to play RM, think hes better then Lennon and with him and Bale on the wings, BOOM

Viva, I'll play Lennon if you play Young. In not falling for that one.

I know footie has changed, thats why I have the fullbacks I have, to play the modern game. Im not a huge fan of 451 or 433, I like 442 with play down the flanks. Man United esq if you like, Always had good fullbacks and wingers and strech teams.

Apparently Inter want Nani + £20m for Sneijder.
Think id rarther keep Nani and try bid for someone else. Think Sneijder is quality and would love him at Man United but Nani did great last season and has many more year ahead of him to build upon.

Man United esq if you like, Always had good fullbacks and wingers and strech teams.

I love the 4-4-2 system but for some reason everyone is in love with a 4-2-3-1 formation and I feel if you play 4-4-2 people may mark you down for it. If you have Beckham, Scholes, Keane and Giggs I bet they would beat one of those 4-2-3-1 formations. As long as you have the balance in a 4-4-2 I can't see you going wrong. An I love to see wingers in a 4-4-2 they do better then a 4-2-3-1 and can express the way they play. But thats life, so I play diffrent formations depending on the situation.

Agreed I rather keep Nani, I think he is one of the few players at our club that can win a game on his own or change the game in a split second. I know he can be annoying when he loses the ball or shoots instead of passes but thats his game. I rather we pay full wack for Sneijder but for some reason I rather have Nasri then Sneijder.

Viva, see Nani's assist this morning?

Nasir isnt going to happen, Wenger is too stubborn. I dont get the way he wont spend big on players, his contract/buying players philosophy and general economics but hes willing to keep Nasri and risk him going for free.
How can the board even be happy with that??

I'm happy with it Nick unless we get an offer of like £25M then why not keep him for the season. He might sign a new contract that has not been ruled out, especially by him.
