There's hard and there's hard.

Not sure about being unlucky with injuries, how long until you have to question the players conditioning? There is a big case for the pro game to answr for when it comes to players trying to bulk up so much that there ligaments and tendons can't catch up, which results in injuries. Doens't matter how much you can bench, you can't make the supporting frame bigger.
