I wonder what he thinks about howpeople should drive their cars and what sort of example it might set to the younger generation?

I can't say I disagree with him in principle but that is probably due to my hatred of McDonalds (no matter where you go in the world there is always one and it sickens me) however they are putting a lot of money into the Olympics.

I care not for London, the Olympics, McDonalds or Khan.

I haven't been less interested in an article for a long, long time.

You can eat McDonalds as part of a healthy diet.

It's just something to blame for people who can't control their lifestyle, and part of today's culture of adversity to personal responsibility.

Now where's my job on their PR team?

What if Amir asked you out for a Big Mac following an evening watching the Heavyweight gold medal final?

This isn't like a normal cheeseburger, if someone gets you a big mac then it would be very rude not to.

I'm sure that Naz doesn't have the same stance as Khan either!

I don't agree with Khan on much but i do on this. It's everyone's own choice whether to eat McDonalds or not, but to stick four in the middle of the Olympic Village is an absolute joke, money talks though. Going by Balti's video, he better watch himself in sparring.

I really detest the mentality that by virtue of something existing we have to indulge in it therefore the product, not the individual, is the problem. Just because a McDonalds is there, doesn't mean people have to go in and eat - it's about freedom of choice and individual responsibility, or parents setting good examples. As Scott rightly says there is a blame culture where people aren't able to yield self discipline. I don't eat mcdonalds, and when my son is old enough to understand what it is I won't be encouraging him to eat in those kind of places - if you want kids to be healthy the buck stops with the parents and the examples they set, khan should focus his criticism on parents that give junk food out of convenience because that is the real source of the problem and education from high profile sports stars is the key to changing attitudes.

To be fair you can't really knocked Khan for his comments here as it does send mixed messages, top athletes and then MCDonalds?!
