Khan vs Maidana/Guerrero

Ok title may be a bit misleading as this is so much about the possibility of them fighting more about the aftermath.

As far as I'm aware Maidana and Guerrero are fighting for the WBA 'regular' title vacated by Khan when he won the IBF therefore promoting him to 'Super' WBA champion..... now if say Khan fights the winner of the regular bout and wins, Will Khan then become the WBA super regular Champ, or will he just remain Super once again leaving the WBA belt to become vacant or the 3rd option which judging by todays governing bodies will Khan become the WBA 'amazingly awesome champion' allowing people to fight for both the Super and Regular titles

In this case being the regular champion means next to nothing, Khan can demand a fight with either and if they refuse they then get stripped.

If they demand a fight with Khan and he refuses can he be stripped?

Not that i'm aware of.

He will become Super Emeritus lord of all he surveys champion. Hope that clears up any confusion.

Why not just give every boxer a belt, a certificate of participation, tell them to pack up their stuff and "thanks for coming"..?

Like it Balti, the school sports day approach, after all it is not the winning but the taking part that counts. Add into that the increased safey aspect of fighters not being actually required to fight and have to say it looks like you could be onto something with this one.

I'm not sure what the state of the belts would be but Khan wants to watch out for that Guerrero.

On another point if you get made Super champion for unifying 2 belts.... If Maidana was to win then fight Bradley and win his WBO title, would that then mean there would be 2 WBA super Champions ????

In all that means there could be 3 WBA super champions, a 'regular' champion and an interim champ all at the same time..... My heads getting sore just thinking about it.

Perhaps they will go with Interim Super Champion and Super Champion Emeritus.

Ive an old Calvin Klein belt in the house I dont use anymore, if I stick a bit of shiny metal on it anybody up for starting a new governing body with me?? We could even buck the trend and only have 1 champ but to keep to the idiotic standards of the others we could have the losers of the fight getting the belt?

I think that if Maidana wins then he would deserve a re-match with Khan, even more so if he wins in convincing fashion.
However I would prefer Khan to stay away from Maidana as losing in a re-match could jeopardise a showdown with the face of the sport of boxing.
