Maidana vs Morales & Katsidas vs Guerrero on Sky

I see the above fights are live on Sky Sports this weekend.

Not sure if this has already been covered but this is great news.

Rooting for Morales but can honestly only see a stoppage win for Maidana.

Morales may have the superior boxing skills but they are diminished and to go be years off your prime in a heavier division you're not used to and fight the hardest puncher in the division is brave but ill fated IMO.

For the Katsidas vs Guerrero fight i'll be rooting for Katsidas as he always entertains and really needs the win.

To be honest fellas, if you'd watched Ringside last week, it was clearly advertised...or do you not look at the words and just focus on the pretty pictures?

Cotto & Malignaggi (complete with homosexual magic man outfit) 147lbs.
All made weight first time.

That's very heavy for Morales did he look like he carried the extra pounds well? $25 dollars for a cheap seat is great suprised about that.

Morales doesn't look well at all to be honest, have a feeling we're going to see a very brutal KO in this one. A far better card overall than anything we have over here and for $25 I would definitely go.

Morales doesn't look good. Bit soft round the gut. Maidana looked in great shape but you wouldn't expect anything less. Fear the worst for Erik here.

Morales had the light hitting Willie Limond as his sparring partner which makes no sense when facing a banger like Maidana.

I think Maidana wins in around 9. Morales experience should help him early on though a quick Ko is still a real possibility.

Guerrero vs Katsidis is a great match-up. I've never been sold on 'The ghost',I think Yordan would have beaten him if there fight wasn't an NC.

Katsidis has had a rough year and alot will depend on how much the Marquez fight took out of him physically and mentally.

I'm going for Katsidis in the 7th but with no real conviction.

Kirklands fight is only an 8 round and I think he can wear Ishida down.

Never knew he was sparring with Limmond/ Limmond is a lightweight and has no real power in his punches. That's a bad sign Erik probably knows he can't take a good shot anymore.

By all accounts Morales is very financially stable and has invested well. I just hope he is not embarassed and after this beating he hangs them up permantely.

This is a great card, tickets starting at 25 dollars, Frank Warren take note, lets get it on, i miss Mills Lane.

What a performace by Nobuhiro Ishida, stunned Kirkland and stopped him in the first round.

But he said he was never hurt, and i beleibe they were three serperate flash knockdowns. (loved the boos when he said it)

Did you see the scar tissue round Kats eyes

Scar tissue was a mess thought it was a cut at first

that jab is controlling this fight

Looked like it that's what I thought

setting up the straight so well with it aswell

Guerrero bossed that round for me
