Maidana vs Morales & Katsidas vs Guerrero on Sky

First topic message reminder :

I see the above fights are live on Sky Sports this weekend.

Not sure if this has already been covered but this is great news.

Rooting for Morales but can honestly only see a stoppage win for Maidana.

Morales may have the superior boxing skills but they are diminished and to go be years off your prime in a heavier division you're not used to and fight the hardest puncher in the division is brave but ill fated IMO.

For the Katsidas vs Guerrero fight i'll be rooting for Katsidas as he always entertains and really needs the win.

Katsidis needs to turn this into a brawl

Kats blocking and moving his head a bit better there

OK he has taken too many shots, wont be long. Cant come forward too much, but if he doesnt he gets picked off. great round.

Kats took they shots well but he is far to easy to hit

Didn't think he was going to make it there

He's a tough guy but showing why he will never be a world champion

Kats has a good chin, pity he doesn't have the defense to go with it.

He clearly doesn't work on his defence which irritates me not very professional of him.

I know, he seems to not mind defending with his face.

Guerrero is either tiring or taking a couple of rounds off for a breather

better, but dont think he managed to get a 10 10.

come one, this could make the fight more interesting if he hurts him

Vegas judges will probably score 10-8 although kats won the round clearly.

Not sure if kats got enough in the tank now, one last push could do it for him, maybe just happy to see the final bell now

Kats will keep going but he doesn't look like he's got enough left to get Guerrero out.

yeah doubt he has chance, too beaten up to have much power left, even for him. Love the ref bashing in that round

Better from Kats, if he gets through the 11th, i'm hoping he's going to go all out in the last.

Anyone think Morales has the discipline to try and outbox Maidana or will he just go at it from the start?

He will win 2 rounds, 1 and 3rd, then go way down hill

That was a great fight and the one I stayed up for, glad Guerrero put on a good performance as I've rated him for a while but always waited for him to really break through as a star. Seeing Kirkland get knocked out was a real bonus because he is a bit of a tool. Think I'll get another beer and watch the Morales fight out of hope but I expect him to get a sound beat down.

I think he has to Prettyboy he won't stand a chance if he trades with him

The first time he gets caught the boxing will go out the window and he'll go toe to toe and then it's over.

Anyone else got a nasty feeling, hate watching a legend going to get koed. Same with Barrera. Its just wrong. I imagine it like sleeping with an ex who has put on alot of weight.

Bit suprised by Maidana thought he would fight at a much higher tempo than this and not let Morales stop for breath.
