Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
These two will just have another silly side show and annoy the hell out of england now.
the indians in the crowd cheer likely they're winning.
saturday afternoon madness.
Dhoni to bat through.. they can't touch him when he's in this mood. he might even save them with Kumar here hitting 6 after 6.

If Kumar keeps playing like that they bloody will win here.. they'll be ahead by tea with a 6 off every ball.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Kumar is a cracking hitter. Good to have down the order.
30 off 12.. it's hurting England to be honest, frustrating them and maybe putting doubts in the mind.
This game isn't won yet.

A few blows down the order won't upset England when we have this kind of lead and another term to bat. Its a matter of when, not if

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
The game was won a a long time ago Trebell, Kumars handy at best.
Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
true he's also in that lucky "it's already lost, no pressure" situation.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
India still trail by 300 with 3 wickets left plus England can bat again. No real doubts in the winner.

The only doubt is whether it will finish before you head off to that Ape movie , trebs
Kumar and Dhoni making for some fun for the crowd ... good to watch but I'd still like to see Jimmy get that Michelle...

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
ouch Swann is a mess a bit here right now.
maybe take him out for a bit. Mr Kumar is hammering him.
It's a bit shocking. Kumar isn't really that good is he, it's all clubbing. Bring Broad on for him.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Look at the Indians in the crowd come alive.. this is not over.. england have no answer for these two at the moment.
surely strauss needs to use his head, swann is getting shown up so bring in Broad and give the lad some chin music.
9 overs this session, nearly 10 an over.. basically it's a t20 and that's what these boys know these days.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Once a side scores 700+ runs in a single innings, you kind of know they aren't going to lose. There's no way back now for India, especially with so few wickets remaining.

Me and my big mouth...
India showing a bit of fight at last. Fantastic slog-fest from Kumar and Dhoni accumulating nicely.
Nice for the fans anyway. 200 up for India...who'd have thought that half an hour ago?

It's just like Broad and Bres back at Trent Bridge. Have a whack when the top order failed.

Broad brought into the attack hopefully he can stop this mini onslaught from India.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Good call Liam.
Broad duly gets Kumar, holing out to Bopara. Brilliant knock that made England's bowlers look a bit daft. If the rest of the team had half his belligerence, this series could have been very different.
Must be all over now...surely?

It was all over before India started batting. They weren't going to bat for 2 days against our attack

Can see where you were coming from, Broad and Bresnan played a few shots in the 2nd innings but that was after Englands top order had piled on the runs.
Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Broad does the trick with a short one ... no surprise there
Except that Bopara caught it
That was cruel ...

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Eight men dressed as WWII pilots, arms outstretched, run along the bottom of a stand. A burglar in stripey jumper and mask, chased by 15 policeman waving inflatable truncheons. 12 penguins, waddling at pace in the other direction. Lord Boycott sounds like a man experiencing a nightmarish trip. "Imagine the kids!" he bellows. "A grown man leaves 'is 'ouse in the morning, dressed oop in a blond wig and a skirt. What do they think?"
Sounds like some weird 60s hippie film...or a Monty Python sketch.

With Englands selectors you never know..
Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
With Trott coming back? I don't think so.
Sadly I fear that may have been Bops last chance.

Dhoni passes 50 and in only 62 bowls. Taking the attack to Englands bowlers.

50 for Dhoni

Fifty up for Dhoni.
52 off 62...good going. Makes you wonder why the top order have failed so regularly.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Because Dhoni and Kumar are under no pressure to save the game. If Dhoni or Kumar slogs a top edge and get out first ball, the game's gone anyway.

Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
Broad gets his second, trapping Sharma lbw, without adding to India's score.
Just Sreesanth to come now. Will he do a Kumar or a Sharma?

He'll certainly look to slog the ball. Probably to no prevail though.
Re: England vs India 3rd Test Debate
I dont feel for him trebbs. He bigs himself up more than any other player in the England squad and is just not good enough.
