Mitchell Johnson sledging Jimmy Anderson

Mitch probably had a quiet cry when Jimmy gave him the ssh sign.

Mitch knows deep down he is far more gifted than Anderson, therefore he probably couldn't give a hoot to what Anderson does.

If Mitch sorts out his rather frail self belief, he's up there with Steyn, as the premier fat bowler in the World.

His stats back this up, 180 odd Test wickets @ 29, with 7 x 5WHs and 2 x 10WH.

Hahaha. Johnson's average was 40 in 2010, he is not a world class bowler as his arm is far too low which means he can't bowl consistently, which is what bowling in tests is all about. You don't know anything about cricket.

I'd say mid 80's is a bit more than medium pace.

Anderson has full control of the swinging ball, and moves it both ways at will, Johnson can't even control his own bowel movements, judging by some of the filth I have seen him serve up.

Oh and currently it is fairly obvious that Anderson is far superior to Johnson. Every now and then though Mitch will have a stormer and look completely unplayable but these games are far too infrequent, unfortunately for the Aussies.

Anderson has had to stand out Test series on a 62 Test career. Wow, no really just two decent showing. Pakistan in England 2010 and the Ashes 2010-11.

Pakistan series was a series when the opposition where caught to be cheating, therefore hardly anything to shout about.

Ashes 2010-11, Australia struggling and rebuilding, Anderson got a few cheap wickets. Tell me what he did in 2006-07, oh yes he got pasted everywhere.

Anderson is a so so bowler, no x factor.

My point was that the more he runs down England the more he runs down Australia who are a worse side by a significant margin.

Johnsons isnt a joke, hes just another Harmisson. England were able to get rid of theirs after years of perservering because they had guys like Anderson and Broad who arent mentally weak, and who can produce under pressure and where willing to put in the work toiimprove. Test cricket requires menatl strengtth and endurance, Gohnson doesnt have it. That makes him an average test player regardless of how good a bowler he can be. Australia had no problem sledging England players when we had talented individuals go through periods of mental flumpery (and lets face it England have had a lot of mentally weak players over the past 2 decades )
England are lucky that they are in a position where they dont have to select guys who are that flakey anymore. Australia arent because the cupboard is bare. The toughness that they used to use to crush opponents is now a weakness, suck it up and get used to people like Anderson giving it back. Its hard to have sympathy for a team whos supporters mocked and threw things at Simon Jones when he bust his knee.

even the aussie spinners are better than johnson, they occasionally pitch the ball on the strip, so i dont see why johnson sledges!

I would be embarrassed of Mitchell Johnson if I were an Aussie.
