Evening guys

Here is the thread to discuss all of tonight's action as it unfolds, in what promises to be a very entertaining night of boxing.

Feel free to post any early predictions.

Mine are: Frampton TKO7, McCloskey UD, Vitali KO8.

I'm a bit surprised to see so many Poles over there I thought they were all over here!!!

Glad to see there still a few Poles left in Poland

Thought McClosky was lucky there. I had Prescott winning 115-113. The crowd probably won him that fight. He done well to pick it up in the last 4 rounds. Don't think Adamek stands a chance

McCloskey didn't know where he was at the end of the 12th.

Roll on Vitali. I just hope Adamek can ask a few questions and make it a proper fight.

Fantastic stadium, first of all.

Vitalis right hand is an absolute sledge hammer. Adamek/Haye just too small for these behemoths. Truly awesome specimens.

Adamek seems to turn to rubber every time he gets hit

Vitali's starting to blow. If Adamek can keep the pace up it'll be interesting.

Vitali is so far ahead of the other Heavies for me i cant see how any of the current crop of stiffs have a hope against him. Wladimir at least is chinny so they have a punchers chance against him, Vitali looks to have no real weaknesses. Wladimir is a very lucky boy that old mother Klitschko wont let his big brother knock him out.

Adamek's not a heavy though is he? He's a guy who lost to a guy who lost to a guy who Froch beat!

I don't want to see any more of these fights. Lets have two real heavies fighting.

Vitali's good, and he's not afraid to mix it up, but fighting guys like Adamek proves nothing.

Adamek's trying that, and getting his face flattened (even more) for his trouble. Maybe if the opponent was also 6'8" and 245lbs with and 80-odd inch reach...

To be fair to Foreman, Frazier and Marciano are levels above Adamek and both could seriously punch.

Haye was lucky he was fighting a bloke as scared of being hit as he was, Vitali is a different kettle of fish he is just brutal and i doubt Haye would last 3 rounds with him.

He's doing loads better than Haye..(!) Least Haye avoided SOME punches.

Really think Vitali could have finished that in the first round, but wanted the fight to last.

Fair play to Adamek he's a tough bar steward. Vitali looks as good as ever could have ended it earlier. An absolutely awesome athlete.

Kev that's true, but small guys are always gonna suffer on the way in, and either Klit is just so much bigger than those guys.

Comparing Adameks performance to Hayes is unfair Vitali is a different animal he isn't terrified of being hit so he opens up a lot more.

Swings and roundabouts. For all his effort Adamek has been rewarded with an early night and a trip to hospital. It's not much to rave about.

My 10th round stoppage prediction was correct then.

Had to be stopped, nothing coming back. Brave, Adamek, but totally outgunned.

To be honest Haye landed more than Adamek and was far better defensively, but the upshot of it all is that these guys are just too small for the Klitschko's.

Regardless of what?!? You mean even if he HADN'T been shipping a massively one-sided paggering..? Brave, yes, and I doff my cap to him, but that fight just seriously risked his health.

Tyson Fury is the only fighter I think that stands the slightest chance against the Klitschkos. Anyone with a smaller height and reach than Wlad/Vitali and going to get punished.

By the way, Dee, I didn't mean that to come across as me being on the offensive, I'm just not convinced that showing heart is always such a great thing in instances where it count for very little.

Adamek would have done better against Wlad. Wlad just wouldn't have laid into Adamek the way Vitali did.

Comparing Haye v Wlad to Adamek v Vitali is just not comparing apples with apples. Vitali would hunt Haye down and I believe Haye would take a similar beating to Adamek. The straight right from Vitali would be too much for Haye as well.


Hat's off to Vitali's conditioning. He looked in fantastic shape, his best in a while. He was quicker tonight and didn't gas. I am always a bit suspicious though of how the Klitschko's get in such good condition.
