Cusiter signs for another 3 years

Very good news for Glasgow Warriors and their fans - Chris Cusiter has signed a 3-year extension to his current contract: Cus 3-yr deal. Cusiter is an important influence at Glasgow and his staying is an important signal - that leaves deals with Barclay and Beattie still to be resolved among others

Thats great news for Glasgow and Scottish rugby in general. Cusiter is a class player, if he could stay fit he'd be one of the best 9's around imo.

Call me a cynic but I have a horrible feeling they'll announce a departure, possibly Barclay's, following today's good news.

Probably!
When Cusiter signed the first time he was saying that he wanted to be part of a strong squad. When we started leaking quality players he was quoted more than once that he was unhappy that the assurances he was given when signing about the quality of the squad was not being kept.
Unless he is a real glutton for punishment, I am hoping that he has been given cast iron assurances that more investment will be ploughed into the team. Wither or not that happens is another thing.

Great news. Barclay and Beattie will be off but his stint with Perpignon has obviously got it out of the wee man's system.
