CF - he wanted to be sure of a replacement and his potential replacement was coming from Roma. Roma were wanting to be sure of a replacement in the shape of Huntelaar before selling. It was a 3 way stalemate.

i.e. you buying Lisandro was driven by you selling Huntelaar.

CF if you told me from the very start that your not selling Huntelaar we all could have done the deals we wanted. You said if you get Lopez you willlet him go and you were inches away from getting Lopez but because you wouldn't sell Huntelaar.
