Congratulations Ireland
Well done BOD and the lads on a great win in the game against England. it is about time you had a game like that and you made England look like what many people though they are - ordinary.

Well done Ireland. You thoroughly deserved your victory, and I'm a diehard England fan.

I agree, the best team won. Only England can lose and win at the same time. Gutted but todays performance didn't merit a Grand Slam.

A fair end to the tournament I think. England were the better team all round, but the 6N of 2011 didn't deserve a Grand Slam.

Why can't football fans be like this? Gracious in defeat and giving credit where it's due. Rugby fans are a credit to sport, well done lads

Congratulations Ireland. An excellent performance which never allowed England to settle and exposed our lack of experience.
Well done also to Scotland, who even with the injuries managed at last to play, but couldn't De Luca and Darbyshire swap teams or names?
I don't know whether I should congratulate France, or commiserate.

Couldn't agree more. I watched the game in a pub full of England supporters (albeit one or two had Irish roots) but to a man they were appreciative of a great Irish performance.
England have shown a lot of promise in this 6N championship but were beaten by a better team on the day and a lot of credit should go to Ireland for making England look ordinary. A good championship for England and signs that we can at least compete in the World Cup later this year but as someone else said, no team deserved a Grand Slam this year

Was really impressed with ireland against England. The Irish really turned England over and the victory was well deserved.
