Best Wrestlemania Card Ever?

Looking at this years announced/predicted card on paper it could very well be just that. Lets have a look:

"Icon" vs "Legend" - John Cena vs The Rock

This match needs to introduction, simply on of the biggest matches of all time.

WWE Title - CM Punk (c) vs Chris Jericho

An IWC wet dream, the best in the world vs the best in the world at what he does.

WHC - Daniel Bryan (c) vs Sheamus

A great foil to the other main events of the show, the internet favourite Daniel Bryan vs another favourite in "Mr Too Many Limes" himself Sheamus

Hell in a Cell - Streak Match - The Undertaker vs HHH (maybe with HBK as guest referee)

Regardless of anyones personal view on them facing off again it is a huge matchup, the HIAC being used is a great addition to the match as both men are entwined into its legacy

Now for the possible matches:

MITB returns to Wrestlemania

Back home where it belongs. One has to presume that the match will be of the 8 man variety. So with a bit of fantasy booking:

Smackdown side: Cody Rhodes, Santino Marella, Justin Gabriel

Raw Side: Zack Ryder, Kane, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz

That looks pretty decent to me. Should open the show and be a great faced paced spotfest. We could replace Gabriel with Tyson Kidd.

Big Show vs Shaq

It's been rumoured for ages now so lets say it happens. Bit of mainstream attention for WWE.

Divas Title - Beth Phoenix vs Khama

Again the rumours continue. Could be a great match and promote womens wrestling.

Team John Laurinaitis vs Team Teddy Long - For control of both Raw and Smackdown

Obviously their edging towards something like this so lets go with this.

Christian, Mark Henry, Alberto del Rio and David Otunga vs Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre, Ted DiBiase Jnr and Ezekial Jackson

Obviously thats just brainstorming but it gets a lot of people on the card. If Rey Mysterio is the back by wrestlemania then have him take Drew or Ted's part in the match.

Tag Team Titles - Colons v2 (Epico/Primo) vs Kofi Kingston/R-Truth (vs Uso's)

Having the tag titles defended would be a great sign for WWE's tag division, this match is the least likely to happen and could be moved to the pre-show if needed.

Thats 9 matches, and a top top card.

Thoughts people? Are we in for the best Wrestlemania Card ever?

With proper build up, it could have been a fantastic WM.

Having said that, I'm finding it hard to raise any interest in the card. I'll no doubt still watch it but I'm not buying in to any feuds due to the lacklustre booking.

Is looking like a fantastic card.

Is the money in the bank 100% happening ?

The HIAC will look brilliant in a huge stadium like Miami's. Is it the first time the HIAC will have been used at Wrestlemania??

No, Taker used it v Big Boss Man when he hung him from the roof of it at WMXV.

Oh bugger, is the hell in a cell announcement a spoiler from Raw? haven't seen it yet. Or is it just rumoured?

If they went for like a 8 man tag match to represent Long vs Johnny ace, then surely Santino would be on Long's side as he is his assistant?

Definitely a fantastic looking line up which I will most happily pay the £14 for. Even the Team Long vs Team Lauranitis can shape up to be a big match, with the right team of course. Im worried about the Smackdown team, unless the main emphasis is on Randy Orton who becomes the sole survivor. I just hope the likes of Big Zeke, Khali and Otunga are not involved. However, a triple threat tag match seems likely, hopefully they let the uso's get involved. And from the past promo's, am I the only one that is really pumped for HHH/Taker?

Question: How will they manage the HIAC in an outdoor arena? You can't lower it from the ceiling

That's exactly what I was thinking when I watched RAW, hope it's secure, although I think I'd love to see a guy standing at the top of a ladder ready to get the case and the Cell comes crashing down on top of him

They will have a massive structure like at WM24 to cover the ring, it should look impressive. The cell will be hung from that. I have say if you forget the build up and just enjoy the night this could be a cracking Wrestlemania.

The real key is simply match placement, putting a divas match between Taker Triple H and Cena Rock is daft, I'de assume the last hour will just be for the two matches I mentioned, I'm actually looking forward to Big Show Shaq if it happens, Shaqs trained in some MMA so it might work well. Oh yeah the divas match will either be a lumberjack match or a massive tag match.

I'm not really into forgetting the build up to be honest, if that's the approach the WWE take there would be little point in tuning in every week

For me the build up is every bit as important as the actual matches

I dont think the big show shaq match will happen, big show and cody are going to have a WM match its pretty clear,

i actually think this years celebrity involvment will be from Chris Brown.

i didnt think anything of it when i saw that he and punk were having a twitter war, but the fact they have been promoting it on wwe tv makes me think otherwise...

Then I change my mind...this IS the greatest card ever!

Best Wrestlemania Card ever?

7 and 8 for me.

I am looking forward to it big time. The Hell In A Cell stip has made me interested in the Triple H v The Undertaker match. Money In The Bank will be awesome as always. Chris Jericho v CM Punk - need I say anything about this match? Sheamus v Daniel Bryan will be a great match although I still expect Randy Orton to somehow be in that match. The Rock v John Cena will have to be one of the best matches ever. Both superstars will have to really up their game and it will have to eclipse Punk v Cena at MITB.

I was just thinking this earlier, its certainly the best card WM has had in a long time.

Its probably the most significant Mania off all time. 2 Indy guys walking in as repesctive World Champions, something I never thought I would see. Quite possibly Undertakers last wrestlemania, so the streak could very well be broken inside the cell. And, Rock vs Cena, argueably bigger than Rock vs Hogan.
