England are going into their third game and Ireland are still taking the cobwebs off that settled on them after their first game.

Much too early to be even throwing up gentle wums on this subject. Not enough stats in yet.

I would add a slight shot at our green friends from the island to England's west, as well.
No mention of matches "won by Ireland", only "lost by England", as if Ireland had nothing to do with the winning and losing. Looking at the recent results between the two, England may have been godawful, but somehow Ireland helped England lose. Just a little, I think, anyway.

Yes of course you can beat Ireland HERSH old bean, but it looks like it could be more of a wooden spoon decider than GS decider on current form..... Whistle

What we're 2 from 2,

I can't see Wales winning with that lineout, and France will lose to us yet again.

This fixture has GS writen all over it.

I wouldnt say that Rodders, of the two teams only the irish can get the spoon. England have already won two games.

If England win a slam playing the way they are now (and it's a very real possibility that they could, in my mind because Wales are the only side that look like they don't do flakiness this year) well then the rest of us need to commit Hara Kiri because shame will have been brought to the house of Europe.

If they get a Slam by steadily improving over the coming weeks and blowing an inept Ireland off the field, then congratulations will be due.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of optimism. We Welsh are experts at it and we've had a lot more practice than you at seeing our side looking average but expecting them to win every game.

Who are ENG? Are they that Dutch banking group with a woodeny orange lion or am I getting mixed up with Henson? I suppose with that amount of money to call on they should be able to put in a sizeable bid, but I suppose they'd recoup most of it in pre-auction tee shirt sales.

Haven't they also ENG Direct? Their UK based back office department is known as a place where big men can run straight online, and although the turnover is poor they can still succeed by keeping charges down.

Apparantly ancient history is relevant in guaging how a current game will go despite the fact that all the players and coaching staff has changed numourous times over the period your stats have been gathered from.

Your stats tell us nothing about the next few weeks, they are rather just a method for the english to massage their own egos and then turn around and act shocked that everyone hates them...

...sigh

tbh Hersh quite possibly might be on to something.

I can't not see any light at the end of the non-English GS tunnel.

(that sentence is of course deliberately difficult).
