Will he make it it not?




I think he will go further than Mason Ryan and Big Zeke.

he's got Vince's backing, he will get at least a title match at some point I reckon.

Mason Ryan had Vince's backing at one point.

He'll get bored as he almost always does, unless he's an instant success.

Vince thinks he can be one of the top faces in the company so I think he will get more then a passing interest.

Again, the same things were said about Mason Ryan.

I'm sure they'll have been said about loads of meat-heads across the years as well.

Ryback has shown nothing to suggest he will be a big name.

I think Ryback has more chance, he was the biggest heel in Nexus after Barrett before his unlucky leg break. I heard the Ryback gimmick was similar to the Terminator or something. That said I'm about to YouTube Smackdown so I guess I'll find out.

Given his name, shouldn't his gimmick be that of a decorated former Navy SEAL, who still goes off to perform secret government operations between fights?

Watch Rybacks match on Smackdown and tell me he wasnt trying to be Goldberg. His mannerisms, the way he motioned to the crowd, the gorilla press into a spine buster, the long hold on the finishing move ala the Jackhammer. Everything he done looked like they were trying to make him look like Goldberg.

I realy rate the prospects of Ryback, dare I say it, he looks bigger and stronger than Goldberg. It remains to be seen what he is like on the mic, but let's be honest Goldberg wasn't a great talker either, and look at the career he had.

I realy think Ryback could be a big star for WWE.

Goldberg went all the way to his US title reign without saying a word. You CAN get over without good mic skills, you just have to be hella entertaining to watch. Lashley is another example of this.

I think Ryback can do well.

He's got a stupid look though, how can anyone that that face seriously?

I don't actually think this guy is bad on the mic though, judging from his NXT shows.

They're not even giving him real opponents to squash at the moment. He might as well be wrestling the proverbial broom - at least HHH has said he'd fight the broom!
