First topic message reminder :

I would go with the 23 that will take the field in the HC final the following week. (below)

Perhaps swap a few guys around. But we want to A/Win and B/Get the systems in place for the following week.

If we do get a lead going then think about getting people off for the following week. But it is a knockout game against a side that have beaten us in the RDS this year. So I am not expecting anything but a tough game from Glasgow. They have no other distractions and will be well focused on the job.

Resting players? Madness at this point in the season (unless they are injured) If we rest players for this, everyone will get a rest in the Pro12 final when we watch Glasgow travel to the Liberty.

Rule 1 in a knockout game. Win.

Rule 2. There is no rule 2.

I was at the game and haven’t seen any replays to be honest Radge. But if he warned him and then gave him the penalty / scrum then his head is up his ar5e.

He was tackled well by Hogg, who then stood up without releasing the tackler and was on the wrong side of the ruck. He slowed the ball down and by the time we could use it the entire Warriors line was about 2 foot offside, crossfeild kick goes into Conway who came out of nowhere (he looked onside to me), and he crosses for the try. Disallowed. Very odd. Should have been a yellow for Hogg for slowing down the ball in that position.

I haven't watched the replays. However from what I remember Hogg tackled the player and got to his feet, no ruck had yet formed. As the tackler has every right to be there and was well within his rights to compete for the ball. It is up to Leinster to clear him out.

I suppose it would not have made any difference to the score RR.

That was the last minute of the game and Glasgow went on to score after that from a penalty at the scrum.

There certainly would not have been time to score twice.

Doesn't make Clancy's weird decision right though.

He has to release the player though and he didn't.

It was a Scrum Mick, i said penalty (my mistake) but still it was a Baffling decision.

Credit to Leinster though, a class outfit through and through, it was nice to see Gray and Harley shackling your big backrow though.

Glasgow were very good. Defence was excellent. But it was helped enormously by Clancy letting them live in an offside position, and get away with murder close to their own line.

If Clancy was bad he was bad for both sides.

Glasgow showed great spirit to come back from 19 3 even if Leinster did relax a bit at that point.

They are a very hard team to play as evidenced by the fact that this was the first time Leinster beat them in the Rabo this year.

As I said Mrs P I haven't seen the replays. So that may have been the case, I don't remember if he did or not.
