Id be happy to see England make it out the group stages weather people like it or not we're not a top international team anymore maybe when people realize this we won't get overhyped and expected to win.

On the Arteta argument - Since he got injured Arsenal's form when down the pan due to having no one who could keep the ball which is what Mikel done excellently The 606v2 Fantastic Fantasy Football Homepage XII - Page 19 3559488474

Is anyone that excited though about the next crop of lads coming through?

Could the England team in 5 years time be any better equipped?

Walker---Jones---Smalling---Gibbs

Could be something like that?

Barkley is a long shot and I'm not sure who the DM could be, but they will all be in and around I'd think

I think Etherington. Jarvo need to many attempts to get a good ball in the box. But yeah overall game is better I suppose. hummm

How is Mich Richards not in? Glen Johnson's defending is poop, just ask Ozil.

Ozil and Muller killed you at the world cup.
Bang on. Now France will.

Sturridge overlooked for Defoe, whos hardley featured for Spuds and somehow gets in the squad.

I hope SAF fakes some injury with Rooney and withdraws him. Young and Jones too. Id be happy if no Man united players were to go with that squad. Roy can pick more Liverpool then so he'd be happy.

my Mostly English team on FIFA12UT

De Gea
Jones----Smalling----J.Evans
Maggio----Carrick----Wilshire----Etherington
Joe Cole
Welbeck----Sturridge

now ingore the obvious like the Man United players bias, fact I dont rate Wilshire (cheap to buy), RM will be Lennon when I get a cheap enough one but, BUT notice the forgotten man. He has had a good season at Lille and also been over looked.

Shouldn't know by now Nick Ligue 1 isn't a major league Rolling Eyes Personally i wouldn't see the harm in taking him if he in good form but then by that you could take Holt or even Gary Hooper from Celtic

Rio left out due to footballing reasons?

Thats what I posted yesterday sort off:

"Was Rio axed from the England team due to ability or politics I suspect the latter"

I'm still fuming at that decision, England really urine people off know wonder its always Club before Country mentality in England.

I don't agree with the squad, easily a few players who shouldn't be there, but if the right team is picked, ie;

Hart

Johnson - Cahill - Terry - Cole

Milner - Parker

Walcott - Gerrard - Young

Welbeck

Rooney replaces Welbeck after his suspension.
Oxlade-Chamberlain as the supersub.
Carroll/Defoe chucked on if chasing a goal, but neither should start.
Barry is there but should not be ahead of Milner or Parker.
Hopefully Downing pulls his hamstring in the next few days and Adam Johnson comes in in place for him.
Joey Barton should be there Whistle

No no no.
Rooney replaces Gerrard after his suspension and the you have the Man united front 2 in the same system played at United with Young on the wing. OOSH

Possibly, but Rooney should be the main striker. Look how many goals he's scored as a main striker. Playing him behind Welbeck to fit Welbeck in is a no-no for me.

United player to be made the scapegoat.
Yep. Look at last time. was Rooney fault for not scoring enough goals. Thats came off the back of 26 league goals as an out and out striker.

Bet you this time is will be Rooneys fault for being banned for two games.

the Dutch will bottle it as per usual. Same with Portugal.
i ahve a feeling Spains time is up. Im betting on Germany to win and France as my outside shout.

The only running water we have in Scotland are the tears produced when we don't qualify for major football tournaments.
