No it's an area we struggle in, make some other good sweets like Clove Rock but Cakes, bar one or two spots surprising lack of good cakes.

Cakes aren't a problem in Alpha+ cities like Sydney but we could do with more yak curd on the northern beaches.

I have always found Yak Curd hard to find, if I knew what I was looking for it might help...

I usually go down the local Yak farm and scrape some curd off

Best yak curd I've had was in Ulan Bator. The city was suffering from a food shortage... only thing you get get was that and this really tough dry 'bread' which gave your jaws a work out.

You haven't lived until you have had Yak curd have you

It nearly killed me. I had a bad case of the runs... hence switched back to the bread.

that's right but sometimes there isn't much choice. Same in Vietnam... God only knows what I ate sometimes. The local bloke joked it was rooster's testicles... and it looked as I would imagine they would... veins and all! (probably pork balls... I hope that's what they were)
