I'd just give him the job and let him fail. He makes it nigh on impossible for a manager to have total control of the club and the players.

it is the sole source I use to update the Players in the league page.

Please can you also ensure it is clear including the full name of the player (and not just a link to TM cherries)

Also remember the two week rule

Domestic transfers
For anyone that joins the league after it begins then the following rule applies for the first two weeks:

For any deal made with a new manager in the first two weeks, the value of the deal going TO the new manager must be equal or more than the value of the deal going FROM them

Note that once 2 weeks have passed then the manager is allowed to buy and sell as they please but this rule is in place to combat new managers being robbed of their star players and the team being weakened.
