Josh's Daily Straw Poll

If people like this I will try to make it a daily thing... So today, which of TNA's top stars would make it in the WWE now (as in transferring in the next year)? Which would (not should) make it? Vote for which ones would and multiple votes allowed.

NB. They don't have to be using the same gimmick btw. I have also by and large not gone for guys that had established runs in the WWE before...

I would love to see Bobby Roode or AJ in there - they could easily make it. Joe too would be a logical choice and could play the monster heel role well since they have a gap for that at the moment.

MCMG, Beer Money, hell - most of the TNA tag teams would be awesome in the 'E but they dont really have a TT division at the moment

Gone with AJ overall, would love to see him in the WWE.

Ive based my votes on singles competitors - MCMG wouldnt make in the 'E in its current form, as they wouldnt really have any competition and one would assume it would fizzle out.

It also raises the question of how far the WWE would let the tag teams from TNA go, but I suppose thats a different topic.

I think the MCMG would be the perfect catalyst to rejuvenate the tag division so i voted for them. I also voted for Crimson as he has the 'look' and could fit in to the WWE.

I voted for AJ,Daniels and Joe.Brilliant athletes put TNA on the map.

I just think that given his age and build i can't see Daniels making it in WWE now.

I have no doubts mate about MCMG being amazing in the WWE, but they need a decent foundation first - at the moment do they even have proper tag teams? Id love for the whole of TNA's TT division to migrate across - that would be awesome.

Where is Eric Young?!?

I'm a huge mark for Daniels but there's not a cat in hells chance he's make it in WWE at the age of 40, WWE simply wouldn't want to invest time and money in such a short term product.
AJ would make it though in WWE, he's got the look that would sell merchandise by the bucket load in WWE.

I would go for Robbie E but bearing in mind that Zach Ryder is very similar and he cant make it, I doubt that Robbie would!

Hogan should have been on the list as well!

Eric Young is a good shout, dependable, happy to be saddled with stupid gimmicks or job, comfortable on the stick, he wouldn't go far but could easily be the next santino.

I love Eric Young. He is golden!

I voted Bobby Roode because I think he's been a tag team competitor all his career and if he ever made it to the 'E he'd go single - 1) due to lack of TT in the WWE and 2) because he would want to finally go it alone. Roode has a good physique so would naturally fit into the WWE and his mic skills are good enough for him to get over with the fans and be given decent promo time.

I think Joe could do well in the WWE but I don't think with his physique he'd rise to the very top; AJ has enough ability to be a mid card title holder but I think he wouldn't be able to break through the glass ceiling into main event. IC champ for sure.

Amazing Red just doesn't have the mic skills to have a chance in WWE. If TNA went bust and WWE brought back the cruiserweight or light-heavyweight belt then Red would definitely be in his element but he can't mix it with the top guys.

Styles is the best in-ring performer I've ever seen and would wow WWE crowds and be a massive star.

Robert Roode has the charisma to succeed and one of the best seller of moves in the business, would make a fantastic heel in the 'E.

Finally, Matt Morgan is an easy pick. Has the formidible build, and a real aura about him now, he'd no doubt be a big star if the WWE brought him back and repackaged him (no stuttering gimmick please!).

Hernandez / Joe / Pope are all borderline picks who definitely have the ability to succeed but I just couldn't see them being used well in WWE.

In terms of my thoughts, I went for Styles, Roode and Morgan as I think they are the only ones who would be seen as potential main eventers at the WWE.

While I rate Samoa Joe and really like Pope on the mic I don't think that either of them would be seen as main eventers unfortunately

Eric Young power slamming referees - we need this in the E!

Joe's never going to be hugely over with kids which is the main sticking point in a product aimed at selling merchandise to under 12's.

IMO AJ Styles is the best wrestler in the world.

They'd make Joe wear a 1 piece. He wouldn't be allowed to wear his current ring wear. WWE would never air a segment with his moobs.

I went for guys who I think would fit into WWE right now, and my picks were AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Matt Morgan and Crimson.

AJ is, quite simply, phenomenal. It doesn't matter that he sounds like a hick, his in-ring skills would be more than enough to get him over. And when you get past the "Ged off ma properdee!" voice, he's a pretty good promo man.

Bobby Roode is a main-event waiting to happen. He's got the look, the in-ring ability and the mic skills to slot seamlessly into the top of the card and he wouldn't look out of place.

Matt Morgan is a no-brainer for the WWE. He's a big guy with a great look who can talk. The fact that he's also decent in the ring wouldn't do him any harm in the long run, but we know that in-ring ability is usually the last thing WWE look for in their giants.

Crimson is another big guy with a great look. Add in the fact that he's only 26 and he's another no-brainer for the WWE.

There are obviously other guys in TNA who would most likely make it in WWE but I think the above would be sure-fire, can't miss hits in WWE. With the others I think there's an element of doubt.

As good a talent as AJ is i just dont think he'd make it in the WWE. He'd be misused to hell and would be mid card title material at best IMO.

Agree with Y2D2 about Roode, have said for years he has all the tools to be a huge singles star. Also agree about Morgan.

I'd also suggest Hernandez and Abyss could cut it in the WWE. Hernandez would be perfect for Del Rio's bodyguard, eventually turning face, would be huge for the Mexican interest.

Abyss could be, well just Abyss, there is a gap in the roster for a big monster heel.

I voted for the MCMG in that hope too.

But I can see it now...they'll be together for ten minutes before they realise they hate each other, they'll feud and look like they can get some singles momentum, they will go solo and be given no chance to get over, the WWE will release them with little fuss.

Lather, rinse and repeat - WWE Tag Team style!
