What (max of three) factors are the most important in creating a great wrestler? How would this differ in the WWE?

For me the keys are the move set, mic skills and their look. That doesn't mean they have to be muscle bound but they have to look like a champion.

In the WWE though backstage influence, their face and muscles are probably the three key qualities...

Thoughts?

I actually agree with your choices.

It was close between Style/Look/Attitude and gimmick though.

Yeah, I nearly put them as the same thing but I thought that someone with a great look can make even average gimmicks work, but without the right look the gimmick doesn't work.

Don't worry mate - it was just that while they are all important which are the most important.

If it makes you feel better, I only voted for 2 - so we averaged it out okay!

Mic skills and gimmick for me. Hence why TUW is the greatest of all time.

It's really telling that nobody has voted for muscles or bodybuilding background so far. I really don't think 95% of wrestling fans are interested in those things. Wrestlers and promoters are such marks for size and muscle but they don't seem to realise that most of their audience just doesn't give a damn about it.

I went with move set, mic skills and gimmick. I would say charisma is the most important thing of all; I presume that comes under mic skills, although I'd argue they are very different things (Goldberg for example had unbelievable charisma but couldn't talk for excrement).

Charisma could under attitude. I'd say it fits under attitude more than mic skills.
