I thought it was my effective to hold in one spot rather than spread the haemotoma?
Anyways, you're right Sean, Abraham was looking very sorry for himself and didn't like being pushed back to the ropes. Thus highlighting my "Swarmers cause counterpunchers/boxerpunchers problems"
the eye was completely shut anyways, so i don't think it mattered too much.

There seems to be a lack of consistency when it comes to stoppages for cuts or swelling. Was Abraham any worse than Berto v Guerrero, Margarito v Pacquaio o rMorales v Maidana for example?

Re: Abraham v Stieglitz II
i don't think the ref wanted to stop the fight, he gave abrahams corner about 20 seconds to get out of the ring after the bell went for the round, whilst they seemed undecided.
i agree with your point though, ive seen fights stopped for worse and seen worse not stopped. abrarham didnt look like he wanted to go on though, and fighting with one eye for 10 rounds i dont blame him.
