It'll be whatever it gets to at the end of the season, 26.5m Afro keeps hinting at.

GSC wrote:Alright Rules for TP increases I guess.
  • Period for bidding will open once lawyers the week prior to the increase have been posted.
  • The period for accepting bids will be over 1 hour after lawyers are posted the following week
  • Bids will be made by PMing me the player, a link to the TM page, and the amount bid. Minimum bid is the players TM value (before someone goes for that loophole)
  • You actually have to be in possession of the money used to make a bid.
  • You can bid for 2 players, both have to made in the same PM, and you have to have to the money for both.
  • The latest PM sent will be the one accepted.
  • In the event of 2 bids being of the same value for the same player, the first one made will win.
  • Only players that will become available after the increase are up for auction, anybody else can be signed freely.
  • Any players that are not bid on become available to sign at any time.

Anything I missed

My suggestions would be:

1) Open it for longer than 1 hour. This gives all managers the chance to participate, if they are not on between 12 and 1 on that particular day. I would have it open for at least 24 hours, perhaps longer

2) Similar to the draft system, have it that if two or managermanagers bid the same the one player, they get the chance to raise their bid. They can be notified by PM, and reply by PM. This way, they won't know who else has bid, just that their bid was matched.

If after the bidding, a player at the new increase hasn't been signed, can he be bought freely?

I guess if they're tied I could give both 1 chance to name a better price, and the higher wins. Otherwise the first bid wins.

And to confirm the window..

The Cup final result will be on 4th June. So we are saying TP window opens after lawyers on 4th June and closes 1 hour after lawyers on 11th June?

And season 3 will start with tactics on 14th June? (I'm on hols 15th-22nd, so you may want to delay it if you need me for admin things)

So at the close of the window, if there are tied bids, the managers get a chance to raise their bid once (within a set timescale), but no more than that and if the second bid is tied as well it becomes first come, first served)

Sounds sensible to me

Controversial. Best see what the masses say as quite often a purchase is dependant on a sale etc. If a majority are happy, then I am happy to go with it too

I think you should be able to bid what you like, but in an eBay style twist, if you win and don't have the money, its legally binding and you would be forced to sell to raise money.

I'm not sure it'll be an easier title to win.

Mourinho coming back to Chelsea, who have a squad that could challenge.
Utd will maybe have a drop off, but they have quality, and Moyes is a good manager, especially domestically, so I expect them to be up there.

Citeh seem to have stagnated under Mancini this season, they need more than just "staying solid" to get near the title
