surrey vs sussex county championship

First topic message reminder :

Team Director Chris Adams has named a thirteen man squad for the LV=County Championship match against Sussex at Arundel starting on Wednesday.
Zafar Ansari is included in a Championship squad for the first time this season having finished his studies at Cambridge University. Stuart Meaker is unavailable for selection due to a knee injury which will keep him out of action for two weeks.
there is also no place in the squad for roy.
The Surrey squad to play Sussex at Arundel on Wednesday June 12th, Thursday June 13th, Friday June 14th and Saturday June 15th:

Dead cert for draw. Main two points of interest, how does Ansari get on with a decent length bowling spell - does he look like realistic contender for cc bowling (admittedly competition is not massive in Surrey side) and will Wells get his normal century against Surrey.

Nick - not the worst post you've made. Solanki's stylish and swift 130 edges it for me. Batting seemed to get easier as the match went on.

Champagne Moment - Tremlett's sixes in the 110th over to get the fifth batting point.

Still no first win. However, quite a few positives -been a while since I've said that.

11 points in that match and we are out of the relegation zone - only 8 points behind Warks. But Somerset and Derby still have to play each other twice, the first being in next round of matches when we take on Yorks. Realistically, if we don't win any matches it will be highly improbable that we will stay up
