It's baffling that Edinburgh have had such a poor start in the Pro12 with the squad they have. They've made some smart signings for this season and have internationals like Denton, Visser, LAidlaw, Scott... Just doesn't make sense. Guess they're in the same scenario as Cardiff?

Strong Edinburgh scrum - quite happy with only 3 points having messed up the restart.

Lucky for Gilchrist there - thought that could be a yellow

Well according to one of the Beebs radio producers Solomons forgot to bring his accreditation and the Murrayfield stewards wouldn't let him in... Maybe that's why!

Think that was a poor decision from JP, thought it was the Munster loosehead binding underneath the jersey which led to the scrum collapsing twice. Don't blame JP too much as it was on the far side, but how come the AR didn't call it in? Seemed obvious enough.

Anyway soft defence around the fringes again from Edinburgh.

Lovely to see us spreading the ball wide & running with it rather than just kicking it away aimlessly.

Good enterprise being shown by Edinburgh.

A couple of times now they've got up to around the Munster 22 and Munster have given away a cheapish penalty. A couple more times and we should be in YC territory...

Munster are putting boot to ball a bit too much for my liking - in contrast to the sort of rugby Edinburgh are looking to play.

Which side can adapt to the ref best? At the breakdown he is allowing the player with the ball a lot of time to release it. Munster forwards are going to have to be wary of a yellow card as well after repeated infringements

Edinburgh must be beginning to believe - they could win this!

They need to tighten up, Munster making some easy yards and creating too many chances! Of course that advice could also apply to Munster themselves.

Great attacking play both sides, passive defence- good game to watch.

Aye - gave 'em two soft tries and nearly another. Edinburghs defence looks a lot more aggressive compared to earlier games
