The v2 Wrestling Podcast Predicts Wrestlemania XXX

Since December we have been predicting what the Wrestlemania card will be to see how our thinking aligns (or doesn't!!) with that of WWE. The first week of every month has seen us try to predict the whole card, from the main event to the curtain jerker.

Back in the first week of December we still had two world champions and we predicted that Wrestlemania 30 would be yet another underwhelming event for Randy Orton. Here was our full card:

Following the creation of the World WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World and Randy Orton claiming the prize he shot from forgotten man to main event! Batista was announced as coming back for the Rumble and we predicted that he would win it and go on to face Orton. Chris and Gav saw Hogan dusting off the red and yellow to have one more match, whilst they decided there would be a Money in the Bank match.

The big news this month is obviously the departure of CM Punk. Do the team think that he will be back in time for the Grandaddy of them all? With Batista getting booed out of the Rumble will the WWE persevere with their plans to push him as a face, or will they bow to the crowd and book him against a top face champion in Cena or Bryan?
