Schaefer has finally quit Oscar's company.

Likely to join Mayweather Promotions or form a new promotion with Al Haymon.

Haymon has most of GBPs big names on his books.

Might lead to GBP/TR vs Schaefer/Haymon

Makes sense

Can't possibly work with a man with a fish net fetish.

At least Oscar was serious about setting up big fights, a money man and a Suisse CEO? Get ready for an unending bum of the week run.

But will oscar have the fighters to set up fights with arum after all haymon is a very dark horse with most of the talent in some way connected to him

Floyd the ducker at it again.

Schaefer left as he wasn't happy with the direction ODLH was taking the company - namely forging closer ties with Arum's Top Rank (their refusal to work together seen as possibly the biggest stumbling block as to why THE fight never happened).

And suddenly Floyd does a runner too!!

Oscar and Floyd have never got on and Oscar acted like an idiot after the Maidana fight saying he beat him and lost the Maidana fight as well.

From what people say, Floyd's team have always got on with Schaefer so I guess makes sense however I would rather they just all get along, swallow their ego's and make all the right fights.

As Wheelchair says it will be interesting to see how powerful Al Hayman is.

Top Rank are dwindling and GBP may also. With Arum not having many years left maybe GBP and TR will join forces.

Apparently Garcia, Lara, Thurman and Broner and a number of others are also wanting out of GBP, Al Haymon must be loving every second of this.

It would be awful if Schaefer went against ODL now. Truly awful. He still has shares in Goldenboy, so hopefully he won't run a promotional company against them

Plus guys like that are so corrupt they fully intend to outlive everyone with information proving this. The author James Ellroy once stated that he fully intended to outlive Bill Clinton just so he could write a book that stopped just shot of libel but left no-one in any doubt as to what kind of man he is/was.

Don King is damn near immortal. (I'm hoping someone will test the theory that he's bullet proof).
