WWE Superstar reportedly announces retirement at Live Event.

It's been reported that Santino Marella announced his retirement to the crowd at a live event last night saying that he had suffered his third neck injury.

Thank god for that. Sick of him.

Thats a real shame. They ruined his schtick a bit, but there were times when he was the last genuinely liked comedy act. And to get three neck injuries and a forced retirement is a real shame.

Hope he sticks around in a role of some sort

Santino had me genuinely chuckling sometimes. Shame for him, no one wants to see a wrestler being forced to retire through injury.

Yeah he made me laugh. That was his role and he knew where he stood so put his all into it. He always got a reaction so he did it well. Elimination Chamber 2012 where he almost won the title was brilliant!

Sad to hear hopefully the WWE will keep him in some role
