And another, Alex Cuthbert under the posts. 14-0. Hold the front page, Aled Thomas with the 3rd 21-0.

And Portugal get one back just before h/t. 21-5 and I think we're going over to ESPN for the final. You should be able to follow the
7s on the IRB website. Qualification from this pool could come down to points difference. Rolling Eyes

Is there anybody out there?

If so, could you answer this question- should Saracens hold out and win this game, will Mark McCall be the first coach to win both the Magners League and the Premiership?

What's more at Ulster, he stepped up from the position of Assistant Coach to replace a highly charismatic and influential South African coach (Alan Solomons in this case) and took that coaches team to a league victory.

At Saracens... similar story?

It would be good for the Premiership to have Saracens win it. Anyone else see Joe Schmidt rebuked Mallinders claims that the Premiership is tougher schedule that the Magners.

Do you have a link for that Stag?

I saw the way Saints struggled with four or five players missing in the international windows- wouldn't like to see how they'd cope with the players Leinster lose Wink

I think there's too much history for McCall at Ulster now Don. It's a shame, I like the guy and I hope he wins today.

I don't unfortunately. I read it in the newspaper at the barbers today. He said there was no evidence of Aviva Prem being better. Said that Ulster v Northampton there were large periods where Saints couldn't deal with Ulster which saw them go behind 13-7 despite being heavy favourites and at home. He said the Top 14, ML and Premiership all have decent teams and the idea that the Premiership was most attiritional or the highest quality was silly when only 1 English team topped their pool.

The reason Saints won that game was Tonga'uiha and Mujati. We had the game under control until they started to dominate us in the scrum. Once that happened we started to unravel. It was certainly a competitive and close game.

I think it's a fair point.

I started this game as a neutral, but I'm firmly won over to the Saracens cause at this point.

22-18 Shocked

Saracens concede from the kick-off furious

Their discipline will be the only reason they lose this, if the do lose. Leicester have contributed nothing in truth.

see I'm in a dilemma with this match as I dislike both sides, tis the main reason why I haven't bothered to find a link to watch this one, not sure I'd find it enjoyable.

Sounds a close, tough encounter though which was to be expected I guess.

And Saracens hold out!

I can;t believe it, Leicester put 32 phases together right under their posts and they held out until they conceded a penalty. Then Leicester tap and go and out another 10 or so phases together but they hold out!

Incredible stuff. Dramatic finish to a mediocre game.

Pundits are Saying:

Conor O'Shea backs Munster to win.
Brent Pope says too close to call.
George Hook says Leinster to win. He says only Howlett and O'Connell would make Leinster team.

The conscenus from the panel is that a Munster win is the best thing that Irish rugby could get. And that Declan Kidney will be the most worried man in the stadium as he watches his team tear each other apart.

Do we agree/disagree with this stuff?

I can confirm what Stag said about Pirates of the Caribbean 4. It is actually very good and better than 2 and 3 but not quite at the standard of the original.

Great win for Saracens. Good for the Premiership having a new winner.

If that final was 'mediocre' I give a lot of credit to both defences. Especially Sarries. They did their homework and stationed two men on either side of each ruck to stop Youngs sniping. Plus their workrate to get back into a solid defensive formation was phenomenal. Brits may not be the best technical hooker but he is streets ahead of any other 2 with ball in hand.

Enjoy the ML final peeps.

Stag - true that, I forget you've got a v good bench.

Good try that for Howlett and O'Gara get's the kick!

7-0

I am going to give credit of that try to the Scrum V commentators.

"can you believe that Munster haven't scored against Leinster in their last 6 matches..."

5 seconds later Munster score. Typical!
