Surrey have named a 14 man squad for the lv= Insurance County championship game against Nottinghamshire at the Kia Oval starting on Monday 10th July.
Jamie Overton returns to the red-ball squad for the first time this year, replacing Sam Curran who is recharging.
There is no place in the squad for Ben Geddes, Conor McKerr or Amir Virdi.

Will be tough on Patel who scored back to back hundreds for the stiffs against Middlesex last week but i don't see any way to fit him in with that top six pretty much sorted.
With Overton named in the squad you would expect him to start, so maybe Lawes and Steel to join Patel on drink duties.

Away for a week from tomorrow so not around for T20 Finals or Middlesex next week. I was at the Oval on Tuesday - Jordan was bowling on a practice strip at lunchtime and looking very quick and sharp although overstepping. Narine has b*gg*r*d off to the States and will miss Finals Day - disgrace!
